The accessories are already reduced, I put in our favourite spend £30 get £10 off code and it came to £21 instead of £40 so, thats a bargain in my book. Perfect for work.

its roughly a4 size, I dont know how many pieces you would want to fit in though!!

Theres a book bag as well, that might be a better size.

yeah, its definitely not a school bag,its too small. I might get the book bag too and use that for work Im only worried that it wont have any fastenings on it and everything will get wet.

The bag went into the shopping basket as £27.77 but the £10 off code only took it to £21.20 and suddenly the price was back at £31.20. V strange!

Report
kittya · 18/11/2010 22:00

It has to go into your basket at £31 something then you put the ten pound off code in.

You must have gone in through a different link, you need to go onto the one where it says up to 30% off accessories and dont put any code in until it goes into your bag.

Mind you, I wouldnt be surprised if Boden have clocked on to what we are all doing!! It was the same with the kids coats the other week, its practically half price and they wont be as cheap as this in their sale next month!!

look at the total to pay, it is 21.20 as the discount is added at the very end.

Have just bought one Smile Thank you!

No probs. It was never worth the £40 to be honest.

Yes I did pay 21.20, but when I first put it into the bag it said 27.22 in the top right corner of the screen rather than 31.20. Not complaining mind!

Excited to get it now

I have the satchel and the book bag !! Satchel is a good size for general use, but book bag is better for uni things tbh. Trouble is, I think using both together would be way OTT and 'walking Boden ad'. So end up using satchel + my limited edition Longchamp bag for books, files, etc OR the book bag + a small cross-body taupe coloured bag !

I used mine today for the first time. Its fine for purse, keys and camera. I found it quite heavy though!! Im hoping the stiffness of it will give abit. I love the pattern and the colours.

What colour is the lining in the brown version? Can't simply wait for it to turn up, have to ask here Grin

I assumed green.

It's a teal colour.

I hope it's not heavy as in dead weight on your shoulders heavy. I have bad shoulders. I really want a soft squashy Cath Kidston messenger bag but will never be able to have one, so this is a bargain substitute.

Got Navy, nice bag but too small.

Going back.

Report
kittya · 19/11/2010 23:57

Is it smaller than I imagined. You are good sending it back!! If I think its nice, I find any excuse not to send it back. I bought the leopard messanger bag and it is too small but Im still umming and aarring over sending it back!!

Not a bargain if I am not going to use it though. Put A4 notebook, blackberry, paperback novel, pencil tin, keys and diary and there was no room for anything else. Which means too small for me, as I always have DS junk, snacks etc too. Purse was a squeeze. Not really a work bag, which is what I wanted.

Its definitely not a work bag, the picture is deceiving because its a funny size isnt it?

I can see why peoples young daughters are grabbing them as its probably perfect for a teenager.

I will use it though as an everyday bag but, I do really need a work one!

The proportions are the same as messenger bag/laptop bag/briefcase, so I think people are expecting it to be that size too.

Has anyone got a code that's better than 11% off?
