Sorry to hear about your dd dolcee. Hope things improve soon.
Glad to hear your family were better behaved this time ollie.

I wonder what an avid and wise Christmas party would be like. Where would we have it? What would you wear? (Complete fantasy obviously!)

OP posts:
mrsjuan · 14/11/2010 19:06

except the croissants.

notyummy · 14/11/2010 19:08

Oh, Mrsj - it is such a pain isn't it? Our freezer iced up and the fan stopped working so basically it stopped freezing. We have another freezer in the garage, but there wasn't enough room to transfer everything so I had the same problem as you - desperately trying to work out what was the most expensive stuff to eat/save and chucking out stuff that I had carefully squirrelled away.

Sorry to hear about the car seat.

FritziGreenEyes · 14/11/2010 19:11

Sorry last hijack Blush... marsha Have also PMed you answers to questions. Hadn't seen it before, sorry!

Now a glass of red wine and clicking on links!

MarshaBrady · 14/11/2010 19:22

Oh Fritzi thank you, got it. I will be sending you a thank you gift when I get paid finally.

I have been pg and had a baby in the time they since they sold it. And lacking financial control has adversely affected my work. So I sooo grateful thank you (weeps)

Sorry hijack over Grin

vinvinoveritas · 14/11/2010 19:23

monkeysmama there are lots of J Crew roll necks on NAP, and some in Jigsaw too--

vinvinoveritas · 14/11/2010 19:27

bunny how are you doing? Still pregnant?
Grin

mrsj sorry about carseat incident. I recently placed some vital buggy components on car roof.. halfway across London I heard a rather big 'clunk' and on arrival at destination I ralised what had happened. Buggy rendered useless, and some poor cyclist probably fell off...

BelligerentGhoul · 14/11/2010 19:28

NotYummy - love that M&S dress.

traceybath · 14/11/2010 19:28

Vin - I too love that YSL scarf but the warehouse one is a very good homage Wink

If I had an unlimited budget I would buy a lot of YSL, a Hermes bag and a lot of Gucci clothes.

What would be all of your money no object purchases?

mrsjuan · 14/11/2010 19:32

can anyone see this? Pretty isn't it? - I have it in my basket as we speak ready to show dh but seem to have lost the ability to buy anything without consulting my imaginary friends!

MarshaBrady · 14/11/2010 19:32

I would just do NaP outfits. Where I like the styling just bung the whole outfit in.

Prada, Gucci, A Wang, R Owens gosh every designer on NaP really.

MarshaBrady · 14/11/2010 19:33

Aw can't see it mrsj on iPhone plus bambino on me asleep (naughty, but has a cold)

mrsjuan · 14/11/2010 19:37

I'd do that too marsha, or I'd hire a stylist and just let them dress me. If we're in complete fantasy land I may as well throw in some liposuction, healthy chef and a personal trainer so I could actually look how I'd like to.

traceybath · 14/11/2010 19:38

MrsJ I did wonder if you had some news when I read croissants and peas Wink

traceybath · 14/11/2010 19:39

Oh yes the whole NAP outfit would be fab wouldn't it Smile

vinvinoveritas · 14/11/2010 19:39

mrsj I can't see it, I have forgotten my cocosa login Confused

Not naughty Marsha, hope bambino bright and breezy v soon.

tracey I will have a think about that question (gives me longer to live in my fantasy land) I would wear a lot of A.Wang, some old peter pilotto, rick owens, I'd own every erdem dress, lots of louboutin boots, VB dresses, lanvin and YSL, theory, oh my list actually might not stop -

... ...
Right. Have felt guilty after telling yangymac I am a hairy handed trucker Grin
I have therefore posted some pics up(to be deleted shortly!) they're rubbish from my mobile though, so don't zoom in on me or you'll have nightmares!!

vinvinoveritas · 14/11/2010 19:42

and every pair of knickers would be from stella mccartney's range, agent provacateur or myla Grin

Oh and on the subject of knickers my spanx all had (??) holes in them too, which freakd me out- I mean- drafty!

I didn't wear them, instead my spanx have no holes- they are amaaaazing, will try and remember which ones they are

notyummy · 14/11/2010 19:44

Vin - can't see pics?!

MarshaBrady · 14/11/2010 19:46

Vin aw thanks re ds.

But can't see your profile, it is up when you have a line under your name.

The thought of limitless nap makes me feel a bit weak at knees and excited.

vinvinoveritas · 14/11/2010 19:48

heavy duty spanx with no wee hole

FritziGreenEyes · 14/11/2010 19:50

notyummy That Malene Birger dress is beautiful. Would be lovely for Christmas Day (or Eve in my case). Do you think braless would work? Depends a bit on the fabric. Although I could never dare to go commando Shock! Your meal plan for the next weeks sounds delicious. Your guests can count themselves lucky!

bloss Firmer and perkier by Christmas has finally made me order the Shred DVD. Maybe you could be a sales rep for Shred-DVD-people? Or you could endorse it in your new career as colour lady/stylist? Sorry, getting a bit carried away here. BTW Can't see NAP on iPhone either.

So, who is in the newbie Shred-support-group? mrsjuan, vin andlooby?!

esher Whistles shorts are tres chic! Great haul and well done for returning stuff. I have to take three packages back to PO tomorrow. Including this shearling coat. Didn't fit at all. Prefer snood in charcoal.

fleecy Agree that women are too hard on themselves. Worry especially as I don't want to pass on insecurities about my body onto DD. But as she just said today "I love my tummy" I'm not worried (yet).

zembo I'm sure Janice looks lovely on you. And you will need some fabric for bump so it won't be too long.

cake Halstonalike dress looks fab. And I love Cos too! Have to go back next Sat to get more lovely tops. Love especially the very long sleeved ones. Anything good at Westfield?

exhausted Hope you had fun today and enjoyed your noodles! Would want some right now...

ollie Love your image of A&Wers dotted on a secret map. Love the serendipity of cake's and redllama's encounter. But: No, no, no to Kindle. I could never replace proper books with a hand-held computer device. Having said that I love my iPhone for mnetting. But I also have a wall of books and dream of a library!

verity Well done on the Orla Kiely scarf! Don't like her bags either but bought a whole suitcase full of towels last year!

Hello to all new delurkers!

hells Hope you had a relaxing day!

vinvinoveritas · 14/11/2010 19:57

ok I think it works now any half decent pics are on laptop, which I don't have at the moment!

loobylu3 · 14/11/2010 20:01

fritzi- I haven't actually started shredding yet Blush but I do intend to order the DVD. Did you get yours on Amazon and is it compatable with UK machines?

Hve been wanting to start doing some exercies for a while but don't really have the ability to get out minus DC so a home DVD which produces results sounds fab!

MarshaBrady · 14/11/2010 20:02

Wow Vin you are truly stunning!!

And your ds is very cute. Both lovely!

traceybath · 14/11/2010 20:04

Vin - wow you are really gorgeous and your ds is too. And your DD was truly beautiful.

MarshaBrady · 14/11/2010 20:09

Oh god sorry vin I looked so quickly I didn't see your dd that was not on purpose, just clumsy. So sorry, she was a beauty too.
