Come dress me for drinks & dinner at Soho House

DH's work christmas event.

I have a £130 budget.

Size 8.

I already have a huge selection of shoes/bags/accessories so am thinking I want either:

a great dress or......could I get away with black skinny trousers, heels and a fabulous blouse? Dress code says "cocktail" but Soho House is a bit quirky, no?

I also rail against the "corporate wife" image and therefore would prefer something different than Coast/Monsoon.

Betty - have you worn your sequin mini skirt from last year much - I have a yen for one this year but haven't seen any that are quite right. Also what did you wear it with?

Could you push the boat out a little for this?? It also comes in a lovely electric blue and I think is one of those dresses that never dates and is rather cool and quirky!!

Simple silk tank

nice necklace detail although you could prob achieve a similar look with a fine silky tshirt (try Kew or Jigsaw maybe?) and a statement necklace - this . I also saw some crystal beaded statement bib style necklaces with ribbon ties at H&M the other day.

Betty - I was going to size down too as per reviews, thanks for tip. Me too for the blue, not yet ordered but will do so tonight.
I am also going back for an H&M ribbon necklace. Would have bought already but was with DH who was doing much eye rolling.

Order both. I have tits that skew sizing
