Land's End customer service said no info about getting more into stock.
They said the same last year and got no more stock back in.

You can always rely on Dame Noddy Of Holder

cyb · 31/10/2010 18:47

I' not sure about 'wet look' puffas though

olderandwider · 31/10/2010 18:47

Benetton have down coats with hoods; sorry, no link. About £110 I think. I've seen black and navy. They are longish and belted.

Meggles76 · 31/10/2010 18:47

I think the coat is generous. I am 5ft and an 8 - 10. Normally I buy a 10 in coats as I feel the cold and wear lots of layers.
Anyway, I ordered the XS (they say its an 8) in the petite fit. The proportions are perfect but it is very roomy on me considering it is an XS. I would order a size down from your normal size.

cyb · 31/10/2010 18:54

I have a Primark one, I ahve removed hood dont like the fur round my face

noddyholder · 31/10/2010 18:56

noddyholder · 31/10/2010 19:02

Friend has an old asda one lovely and warm not real lent to me in an emergency and although I didn't look good in it it was toasty!Have seen teh jil sander uniqlo one and not worth the money shabbily made at the seams etc.

SatinandTat · 31/10/2010 19:05

The size S (USA size 6 to 8) fits me perfectly with room for a thick sweater underneath, The XS(USA 0 to 4) fits me but is maybe a little snug. I am closest to a uk size 12 but sometimes a 10. Probably size down.

latrucha · 31/10/2010 19:24

French Connection?

FolornHope · 31/10/2010 19:42

HOLD On
( agree re wet look)

OP posts:
FolornHope · 31/10/2010 19:43

so if i am a 12 - 14 uk i shoud buy what they say is a uk 10?

OP posts:
gorehaginhellsbum · 31/10/2010 20:34

I bought the S and I'm a UK10/12. It fits fine but no room for huge fleeces etc. underneath and you wouldn't want to anyway.
I would buy a M if you're 12/14 as it's quite fitted.
Not much choice left though - the blue is a nice change. Not my first choice as it's DDs school uniform colour and I look like a big kid!
