Anyone had experiences of ordering from them? Is the quality good?

I ordered 2 sleepsuits & 2 jumpers over a month ago, I know they've taken the money out of my account but I havn't seen any sign of my items & theres no info on how long it takes to arrive I sent an email saying they hadn't arrived & how long would it take & was told after I sent it to wait at least 5 days before sending another one as it takes a while to respond because they are busy, so I've tried to email them again but when I tried to log in a message came up saying my account was temporarily unavailable. not impressed especially reading the other reviews Hmm

I've just sent an email to watchdog (the bbc programme) but I don't think they'll do anything unless more people complain so I really urge people with the same experience to come forward & have your voice heard theres a form you fill in on the site its really easy then you just press send.

Thanks Jemerald. I might do the same. I am seriously thinking of sending this thread to Vertbaudet.

Surely they need to know that the general consensus on their brand is "good product, shit customer service/long delivery"? They need to take it on board and up their game.

After getting my things in 10 days and being very happy with the quality (although I did send them an e-mail which they ignored) I've tried again and ordered another outfit for DD using the 40% off code they sent me.

Maybe it's down to the delivery company they use in your area?

Outfit arrived today and it's lovely :)

I ordered lots and lots of times from Vertbaudet and their sister company La Redoute for the last 3 years or so, and must say that apart from the obviouds convenience of having everything delivered to your door and collected too, generally very happy with the items (the quality is often even better in real life than what it appears on the website - normally with other companies it's the other way around) ... Clothes are different, have interesting details. Furniture is bright and exciting. Special offers are attractive (although quite a few times I didn't receive them). Sale prices are very good! - but you must hurry - once there is a sale started try to order on the same day or next day to make sure all sizes and colours are available and to avoid the above described issues. La Redoute is more for adults, their children collection is not so great and not so big, but they have more homewares (not only for children bedrooms). But as everyone here says - it's waiting and items out of stock that needs an urgent attention... You were choosing for ages and added to shopping basket, and even received order confirmation, but in a week or two weeks time you receive emails saying this is out of stock and that is out of stock...or if they say that an item can be delivered in 4 or 12 weeks than I know I can't rely on this , it will never be dispatched...Good thing they don't charge your card until the day you actually receive the delivery.... They used to be better with courier collections - you were able to request it online on their website before and they always come the following day to collect (if not the same day). Unfortunately recently they changed their website, and although it is improved in many areas(items don't disappear from your basket once you leave your computer for more than 5 min. etc), but now they also removed " request a collection" function and you have to phone them (which I hate, because firstly it is already not free as advertised and secondly often in the very end of the long call after making all those button choices and giving them info the line kind of breaks up ...in the middle of the pre-recorded message ...and you have to start all over...from my experience this could happen 2 or 3 times in one go... So to summarise everything said - if it is nothing urgent and you are patient to deal with the possible problems regarding your order (which I have to admit is still ok-ish , nothing goes hassle-free I guess) than it is definitely a good company to buy from.

Really horrible customer service and delivery. Tried it recently on several orders, either that the order got cancelled without notifying me, or the delivery went missing, the IT glitches on website are horrendous. Regret going through all these horrors to order a few things.

Ladies on the telephones are also pretty rude and unhelpful. Expensive to call their 0844 number!

Titine29 · 12/02/2014 15:11

Terrible experience to order with vertbaudet. Order 5 items 7 weeks ago, after 3 weeks of no delivery, I was told after contacting them that 1 item was missing. After now 7 weeks and several calls (expensive) I have been told that my order was lost and the money will be refunded! It then costed me to have this terrible experience with them as no compensation for the calls to customer services.
Customer services rude, unhelpful most of the time and inconsistent information. Oh, and impossible to log a complain!!
Never to use again!
