34-33-40 how pitifully weeble-like do my 'vital' stats sound??

It's a far cry from the 36-23-36 that Marilyn's generation aimed for!

I know I need to lose a bit and I'm trying, but I'm only size 12, so people don't point and stare when I walk down the street!

Just wondering, what are your vital statistics? What is realistic these days??

Am I the only weeble?

I find that lots of dress styles are off limits to me (prom dresses, should I so choose to wear one ), or a wide belt around the waist just looks ridiculous on me.

Also, does anyone else have quite long legs but a really short body but be of average height? My naval is so high up...bought a pair of Boden trousers last week which are meant to sit on the waist and they look so daft my DP even said "you wanna be pulling those down a bit don't you".

I'm 42 33 45 and 5'8" (so vvv overweight) but in my slim days (i.e. before I had a Depo-Provera injection!) I was 33 23 38 - was 33 23 40 when pre-menstrual .
