I want a pair of casual ballet pumps but have an issue about shoes that aren't proper shoes.
Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Bloch ballet pumps are very good. I have 3 pairs

Pricey but plenty around in the sales atm

JackieNo · 26/07/2010 20:50

Not sure if they're casual enough, but the Clarks Creme ones are a bit more substantial than some.

nevergoogle · 26/07/2010 20:50

Bloch

ouch!

I have the Clarks Creme ones. Very comfortable in terms of shock absorbing on the heels though if you have wide feet you may find they rub a bit at the front.

Ooh, those Bloch pumps look lovely! I'm looking for ballet pumps to go under my wedding dress and they look perfect

LetThemEatCake · 26/07/2010 20:52

yes i know I know .. you just missed the NaP sale, it ended yesterday, I got a pair for £30!! but check out ASOS, coggles .. still some on sale there - what size are you?

OliviaMumsnet · 26/07/2010 20:53

They don't look v sturdy.
Riva used to be good but think they've gone out of business

nevergoogle · 26/07/2010 20:55

LK Bennett tend to be a little meatier than others. Hobbs too.

tethersend · 26/07/2010 22:09

Anything here?

Or what about a loafer?

nevergoogle · 26/07/2010 22:21

the kate kanzier 'cherish' pumps are lovely.

Tethersend - ring Kate Kanzier and ask for commission! I'm going to buy some too...

tethersend · 27/07/2010 15:54

Shit. Nobody buy the red loafers in an 8. Please.

Fonzie · 27/07/2010 16:47

Anyone know the sizing of Kate Kanzier shoes? Have big feet but have fallen in love with loads of them - usually take a 42 but wondered how the 41 fitted?

nevergoogle · 27/07/2010 22:01

i'll let you know how they compare when they arrive fonzie. they are lovely aren't they.

Themasterandmargaritas · 27/07/2010 22:22

I couldn't choose google so am trying two but may not send a pair back. Will we get them tomorrow?

nevergoogle · 27/07/2010 22:25

don't know. what did you go for?
i've ordered the grey with the pink/salmon polka dot.

OP posts:
Themasterandmargaritas · 27/07/2010 22:41

the same style but in blue with the bright blue dots and the purple/pink snakeskin effect ones. I'm a sucker for a bit of purple.

nevergoogle · 27/07/2010 23:21

yes, i swithered a bit between the grey and the blue. good choice.

Themasterandmargaritas · 28/07/2010 18:33

I've got mine, they are fab. Fonzie I would say they are bang on size I am a wide size 5 and they fit perfectly. Perhaps if you have slim feet they may gape a little but I love them.

How about you google?

nevergoogle · 28/07/2010 21:19

yup, got mine today too.
got them on and have been to tescos.
i'd say size wise they are standard. perhaps they are wide, but that's good news for me and my flippers.
luvverly.
