Anyone else having the same problem finding nice bras??

Am depressed about not being able to find some nice bras to suit my figure. It's not that my boobs are huge (although sizeable)but more where they are....after b/feeding two children (Youngest 11months and stopped feeding several months ago) instead of going South my boobs have gone East and West!! So because the breast tissue is so far under my arms (you cant really tell from looking) i need a big cup size to fit round there - DD or E however i have lost boob around the top and dont really have cleavage so most bras which fit me round the side are far too big round the front! Went in to Reading yesterday and went to John Lewis who i have always found very helpful. Currently have 3 t-shirt styles in different colour as the only ones that fit me but not very exciting and quite high cut so not good with low cut tops. Basically she couldnt find anything else to fit me and said that my breasts were 'so far apart' i would never be able to get them together (iyswim). Wasnt in the best of moods anyway and wanted to buy some nice new tops and got really upset. Standing in bra fiting room trying to stop crying - how sad is that. Have just ordered Bravissimo catalogue and might try and get to one of their shops but not that near me.

Just wondered if anyone else has the same problem or can offer any advice to cheer me up! Otherwise will be wearing the same bras for the rest of my life!

Thanks a lot
P.S. did go into M&S and found a couple that were OK but have strange seam across the front and they are a bit big across there so wrinkles a bit!

I've always been measured wearing my bra. My boobs are so droopy they'd be measuring a long way down otherwise!

I'd have to grow a third breast Cod and I'm having trouble controlling the two I've got. Gave a huge eyeful to the man fitting dd's new car seat yesterday! (by mistake I must add!)

Thank Christ for that, as had read somewhere that they had to take bra off . I may risk it then, thanks.

Yippee!!! Success!! Went into my local 'posh' lingerie shop and tried a few bras on (i already knew my size) and bish bash bosh (or flip flap flop!) found a really nice Chantelle balconette style (Cod you were right!) which we could tell straight away was the one for me. have bought in black and may order other colour if get on well with it. Refused to buy the matching knickers for £22 though!

On the measuring front I dont really mind taking bra off as they have seen it all before and probably worse. I think they all measure under the boobs to get back measurement (i.e. 36) but if they are any good should not need to measure round boobs - should be able to tell what cup size you are. Also it is a case of trying them on as all manufacturers slightly different.

oh Tallgirl definitely get the other colour. When you find one that fits, it's so important to get more than one IME.

Yes, becuase I refuse to pay over a fiver for such a small amount of material.

Pre children I was a 34C and now I'm a 34A.

I'd love to have nice undies/bras but begrudge paying so much whne I've got so little.
