Anyone want to start vaping?

Im starting this thread so I can link it to the one in Chat so there is info & answers to all of those who want to start vaping & the info won't vanish.

Ask aany question you want. Vaping seems like an intimidating minefield before you get going. No question is too daft to ask & there is no willy waving here!

When I got my first kit I went to refill it & poured the liquid straight through on to the table

We've all been starters & are happy to help with anything to do with vaping.

I just also had to google it, although I know what it is - blimey there's a lot of info out there.

There is Magi, and like with all things...some good, some bad but most of it confusing.

I was looking at the Clapton coils Polter mentioned yesterday and on one site they can be used in the mini naut but on another they can't.

Another example...googling mini naut and coolfire and came across a post by someone who works in a vape shop, they said they have never managed to get any naut to work with any wattage coolfire, two search results down and there's a video of both used together with the man saying their brilliant!

I won't even mention the issues I'm having searching for a simplified version of the TPD but that might be that I just don't understand it

I wouldn't call myself a pro at all - just know about starter kits & the mini nautilus & Ileaf.

Plenty is the real pro - she makes her own coils & is hugely knowlegeable about all aspects of vaping.

Lol both very modest! I've read practically every thread in this forum and your two names are the ones that pop up the most....answering questions, sharing your experiences, offering little hints and tips where you can, making everyone so welcome. You both may not feel like pros but to us that know nothing, you are.

Now, is there anyone who can tell me what the damn TPD will mean for me? In nice simple terms please tell me what I have to bulk buy and store lol.

As far as I can see the TPD won't affect me.

Our local vape shop is an independent & since starting it, about 4 years ago, has now got 3 other branches. The lovely owners make juice & sell it on the internet as well as the shops & they are not too worried at all. Yes, I think juice will be limited to 10ml bottles and 18ml will be the highest nicotine strength allowed.

And that strange juice called 'Monkey Jizz' will be banned - worldwide

And that wonderful juice called 'The Sherlock' will be free to people whose names begin with an 'M'

Oh thank you Polter, that's saved me another massive headache! I was wondering how they were going to get round the tank issues because surely they can't expect everyone to change over and it's not as if its something they can police.

I think with the juice it will be limited to 10ml which is a bit rubbish, I might have to look in to buying nicotine and storing/making my own, I swear I never used to get this excited about smoking

The monkey jizz sounds very errrmmm interesting, I don't even want to imagine what it tastes like lol

The Sherlock sounds like it should be mysterious and smoky....I shall have to google them.

The Sherlock is a tobacco flavour & comes from ecigwizard.

I started off with that juice nearly 4 years ago & have kept faithful to it ever since. I don't like many of the sweet/outlandish flavours at all but occasionally mix my Sherlock with a bit of rhubarb & custard.

Monkey jizz is Polter's fave & I always tease her about the name!!

They both actually sound quite nice. I've only tried a few flavours at the moment but am really loving aniseed, it's the only one dh has been able to smell due to a cold lol, but it honestly tastes like the aniseed ball sweets that I used to buy as a kid, I'm really impressed with it.

Oohh chocolate lime! I used to love those. I did get a lemon sherbert to try, thinking again of the sweets, but it's disgusting reminds me of lemon toilet cleaner.
