Anyone want to start vaping?

Im starting this thread so I can link it to the one in Chat so there is info & answers to all of those who want to start vaping & the info won't vanish.

Ask aany question you want. Vaping seems like an intimidating minefield before you get going. No question is too daft to ask & there is no willy waving here!

When I got my first kit I went to refill it & poured the liquid straight through on to the table Grin

We've all been starters & are happy to help with anything to do with vaping.

Update...got youngest to sleep and investigated package properly while sitting on kitchen doorstep having a ciggie....there are basic instructions, they were hidden in the lipo safety bag, I've put some cherry juice in it and it seems ok, there doesn't seem to be as much vapour coming from it as on the YouTube videos but it tastes fine.

I've decided I definitely need to invest in another battery as this one, after the initial 4hr charge, requires 2hrs to charge and can't be used while charging. But all in all it seems pretty good.

Thanks Polter, if I've done it right then there should (fingers crossed) be a photo of the list of what dh brought, it's probably more informative then a picture of a funky battery with a purple top bit lol. It all came from Premier E-cigs

Thanks Polter, I've given it a few trys and it seems OK, must remember smaller drags not my normal huge lung fulls lol.

I've had my little toy a week and haven't had a proper rollie in 5days 9hrs and a few minutes.

I'm looking at getting something more durable/nicer looking for my birthday in just short of 3 months (if I can hold out that long) however I'm getting confused by the tanks, all the sites I look at have lots of sub tanks but very few normal ones, out of the normal ones the mini nautilus is the best looking and the rest look very similar to my iclear16. I'm looking at the cool fire IV in 40 watts for my battery.

Is it possible to use a sub tank for normal vaping? If so how? Do I need to change bits on it to make it work?

Do the tanks fit all batteries or do they have to be certain types?

If you choose a battery that can do different watts/voltages do you have to change your juice type or can I carry on using the aniseed one I've fallen in love with?

And a really stupid question...if I went for the mini nautilus do I have to shut the air holes up when not in use and is there a risk of the juice leaking out of the air holes?

Thank you for any help :)

The juice does not leak out the air holes at all.

You won't need to change whatever your fave juice is.

Many of us use the mini nautilus + an Istick eleaf battery - I'd go so far as to say that it is the most popular combo with the 'vaping vipers'.

I don't know much about sub tanks but I think they are for cloud chasers (those who want to produce tons & tons of vapour).

I've been using the mini nautilus/Ileaf combo for a year now & have no urge to change.

WELL DONE on your five days, 9hours & what must now be at least 20 minutes!! Brilliant result.

Thank you Polter and Magi, I really appreciate your help.

I'm considering the cool fire battery only because of the on/off switch at the bottom but I want the battery life between charges of the istick lol.

I can't see myself trying the cloud chasing thing so I'm happy with a normal tank but it's nice to know I can use a mini triton as a normal tank to give me a bit of variety.

The dh has been very patiently trying to explain watts/voltages/ohms to me and it's just not sinking it, so if I went for an istick battery is it best to pick a particular watt one or are they all as good as each other? (This is where I admit I was thinking of the cool fire 40w because it looks better than the 70w not for any other reason lol)

What do the ohm difference in the coils mean? What difference will it make to vaping? I've ordered some replacement soils for the iclear and ended up getting the same ohm ones as what it came with as I just don't understand that bit, dh can't explain it in vaping/smoking terms as he is a non smoker/vaper but he really does try lol

Boast here - I can stealth vape with my Ileaf + mini nautilus - no problem!

But I am a sneaky moo!

I agree with Polter that the Kanger one is small - once you get into vaping you will probably want to change. But it's a great starter kit & if you currently smoke 10 - 20 cigs a day the money you save will soon add up & you'll be able to upgrade.

I've got the one in the picture. Think it's a kanger kbox and an aspire tank. Its good. Have had loads of different juices. I'm on one called jam on toast at the minute it actually tastes like it lol. Buy juices from a shop down the road, sells signature liquid which has loads of flavours I like, Vimto, pear drops, bubblegum etc. Or buy of a website called red juice.
Anyone got a cig similar to mine? What batteries do you use? And what charger?

Thank you Polter, that makes much more sense than how dh explained it lol.

I actually have the smallest hands of anyone I know but am very adept at ducking down into my jacket!

And at swallowing - the vape, I mean Grin
