I make my own juice and can rewick a KFL+ in under 2 minutes on a good day I'm more of a mixer than a modder, so if there's anything you want to know about mixing juice, lemme know!

Is there owt worse than finding your e-cig exploded in your handbag on a night out? What kind of case do you keep yours in?!?

I have a travel case for juice and clearos but usually just stick it in my bag. What type do / did you have?

Just a basic one, have no idea why it fell apart in my bag, but thankfully I got home and rebuilt it and it is fine. I was keeping it in an old fabric glasses case (freebie from borjouis I think!)
Think I need a nice neat little waterproof case!

pink am glad it was just fell-apart type of exploded. I thought you meant exploded-wth-a-big-bang type of exploded, which had me quite worried.

I have an ego hard shell case as was fed up of losing my e cig in the cavernous depths of my handbag!

Meh, pre-filled cartridges only take seconds to change anyway whatever type of fitting. And as Vype is made by Big Tobacco (BAT), I'm a bit anti however good it may be

I got a phone call from my hairdresser today - to thank me for nagging him to start vaping!! He was SO happy.

I've been telling him about the joy of vaping for about 6 months & he has at last gone down the vape shop & got going. He's 3 weeks in & loving it.

(And he has more kit than me!!)

I'd never seen pre filled cartridges before easily impressed !!

Goodness that proves how much the technology has moved on in the last few years!

Pre-filled cartridges were the ONLY things you could get at the beginning, fitting on cig-a-like devices. Crappy range of flavours, crappy experience, variable quality of both the cart & contents, bloody expensive compared to buying juice.

I'm not suggesting that the Vype carts aren't high quality - I know a little about the BAT set-up & their quality control there is very good - but cost, experience & flavour availability just won't be the same as a decent tank set up.

They're gearing up for the TPD which comes into law in 2016. The tobacco companies are hoping that only their products will fulfill the 'leak-proof and tamper-proof' requirements.

I usually lurk on this board rather than post, loads of great advice here.

I just purchased a sample pack from Alchemists Cupboard, my own fault for not reading it properly but all the liquids are 18 mg and I normally vape 10 or 12. They smell utterly divine so I'm loathe not to use them. Am I likely to get adverse effects from a higher nicotine level? Should I just try to vape less than usual to combat the increase?

You won't get an adverse effect but you may not like them.

I'd get a few bottles of 6mg & mix them half & half with the 18mg thus getting a bottle of 12mg.

No then What's their tobacco like? I've had a few that are a bit 'dungy'.

I haven't tried it....am more of a menthol mamma. I'm away for the weekend, with DP, never have vaped in front of anyone (bar the DC's occasionally) how do I bring it out and the subject up? ! He does know but has never seen me....
