Layering! Rather than buying maternity/nursing specific clothes. I find simple vests like this one layered under tees and jumpers much more effective and helps make you feel less exposed when feeding in public:

I love this www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/products/E471855-000/00?colorDisplayCode=38&sizeDisplayCode=004
Always helpful to wear leggings under a dress though, as children do have a habit of lifting your skirt up.

I found draped nursing tops really great, I could never manage feeding in ordinary tops although I know others manage it, so I think it's defini6worth investing in a couple.

love this for putting over your short pyjamas when doing the school run when you've been run off your feet with your newborn and you need to go out to collect DC1. Just pop over your comfies and look discrete and comfy, and warm

I think this top looks soft, warm, comfy and easy to lift up to breastfeed in. I had a summer baby, but it looks good for autumn or winter.

Definitely shapewear for some body confidence. It's not easy adjusting to your mum tum - and going out wearing a dress, and if you have touchdown days at work and wanting to feel a little more you.

I have several Uniqlo coats and this duffel coat with a big check is gorgeous. If it's anything like my existing one the quality will be high and I think the price point is really reasonable.
