This thread is now closed.

We all know the feeling of staring endlessly into our wardrobes and feeling as though we have nothing to wear. Because of this, Joanie Clothing want to give three Mumsnetters the chance to win their perfect outfit from Joanie’s collection - Whether it’s a chic wrap dress for an evening out with friends, a cosy knit for a leisurely weekend brunch, or a stylish blouse paired with leather Mary Janes for a day at the office, we can't wait to hear your picks!

  • Post your items/picks from Joanie in the thread below to be entered into the prize draw
  • Three lucky MNers will win their chosen outfits.

Here’s what Joanie has to say:

Falling in love with one of our styles is discovering a real gem that fits you perfectly, is sustainably made, easy to care for and will be treasured for years to come. We may look to the past for inspiration, but creating future vintage is our aim. We want to ensure our customers feel fabulous and make everyday dressing a little more fun!

Thanks and good luck with the prize draw!

Discovered Joanie when googling for a mushroom print dress and am totally sold. Love their quirkiness and also love the sustainability and responsible sourcing of their materials (and they use the left overs to make matching accessories too).

As a plus sized woman over 50, I often feel invisible but it's hard to hide wearing a Joanie outfit. I recently bought a gorgeous planet/space themed midi dress in their sale and it's complemented every time I wear it, and really flattering too so such an ego boost.

I really struggled to whittle my choice down to just one outfit but, knowing my body-shape, I think this ensemble pretty much sums me up perfectly...oh, and these shoes...chef's 💋

...missed the bit about where I'd wear it.

This would be my work outfit. I'm so over being the invisible woman because of my age and weight. No more I tell you, no more!

Sickoffamilydrama · 02/03/2024 00:13

These are all fabulous as well and I'd probably wear the shoes everywhere as they are gorgeous.

I really want to say that I'd buy this one as it is the double of the bridesmaid dress my mother toiled over when I was 10 and was my cousin's bridesmaid in the late 1970s- in those days Laura Ashley didn't make children's clothes so the bride's sister could get a dress off the peg but I couldn't. https://joanieclothing.com/laura-ashley-x-joanie-avalon-campion-floral-print-high-neck-prairie-dress.html I still have that dress and my children wore it for lots of dress up days at school and loved it too.

However that style doesn't suit me anymore so I'd go for this one which is a better shape for me https://joanieclothing.com/bryce-peacock-print-v-neck-midaxi-dress.html and wear it next time I go to the opera.

I really love the fact that you've pictured it on a model who is curvaceous like me as well as someone slender so I know it will work.

Really love the way this corduroy waistcoat and skirt have been styled with the Velma dagger collar blouse.

However I'd wear with the 'pink satin', and finish off the outfit with the sassy Strasbourg steppers in brown. All very much my style. If I won the outfit, I'd wear it with pride for my Baptism next month. Grin

For me....

These shoes any colour but black.... let's say PINK

I've been eyeing similar for ages but can't justify the cost for the amount of wear...

Then this dress

And I think I would need this just because 🥰

Have a few Joanne pieces from a while back but Dawn OPorter really puts me off so think I started ignoring the ads

Ooh love the site, right up my street, creative and colourful

Oh some lovely things here. Colourful shoes 🥰
I have a barn dance wedding later this year and see myself in this lovely green dress and matching shoes. Flower clips in my hair.

Lots of things I’d love to have but probably never get a chance to wear (I’m either in a work uniform or at home in sweats-don’t get out much) but, I miss going to my book club the most. If I ever return to it, I’d love to be wearing this…

Noticed a pp mentioned finding stuff on Vinted, so I’ll take a look there. A pretty headscarf for doing the garden in spring would be nice.

I would love a wardrobe update being a poor student retraining in an allied health profession.

Outfit one:
The deckchair print boilersuit please, just my style. Teamed with the Dawn O'Porter optic print oversized cardi and some Grenoble leather t-bar brogues.
Outfit two:
Philipa belted teadress in green please with some lille leather t-bar dolly shoes and the Lovelace oversized retro geometric print cardi.
Outfit three:
Albertine poppy print midaxi dress with the dawn o'porter floral fair isle cardi and the Toulouse red suede platform loafers.

Thank you and fingers crossed.

I love Joanie dresses but haven’t bought any in the last couple of years as I’m now wfh and don’t really have the need. My new outfit would be for a reunion afternoon tea with university friends coming up soon, and my choices are:

this cardigan

this dress (would have LOVED the dress the model is wearing in the cardigan photo but sadly it no longer seems to be available)

and these shoes which I’ve been eyeing up since the recent shoe launch!

Ooh probably this dress:

joanieclothing.com/bus-stop-x-joanie-hammersmith-art-deco-dagger-collar-midi-dress.html

Which I would wear for work, the cut would suit me.

With these shoes:

joanieclothing.com/rouen-patent-leather-mary-jane-shoes-green.html

Which I recognise people might think clash terribly with the colours of the dress but that's why I'd wear them.
