If summer is over then Halloween can't be far away. If you go all out at Halloween Lidl would love to hear what makes your Halloween party go with a bang, groan or rattle of a chain.

Do you have some seriously spooky snacks you serve up, some particularly petrifying party game or maybe your pumpkin carving skills are legendary (post pics - we WANT to see them!)? Are you a favourite stop for sweets or boo-tiful baking? Maybe you've come up with a genius way to dress the house for the scary season? Or do you have a tasty pumpkin recipe up your sleeve? Whatever your tips, tricks or recipes are we'd love to know.

Please post them on this thread and you will be entered into a prize draw where one winner will get £100 worth of Lidl vouchers (note the winner will be sent 4 x £25 vouchers, one voucher can be redeemed per transaction).

Thanks and good luck

Halloween is by far my favourite event and I love making it special for my little ones! I have done them a party every Halloween and love to get creative with the decor, outfits and food and we even grew our own pumpkins last year! You can let your imagination run wild and have so much fun! Have attached some photos of all of the fun we get up to below!

We usually get a new decoration or two but we have a some left over from last year. Games wise we always play a variation of the Nelson game using peeled grapes for eyes & other gross things I think of for body parts! We play it that they have to guess what the body part is made from by touch or taste if they can't work it out haha!

I love Halloween ! I love to buy the pumpkins and carve out a face and place candles in them. Also making paper lanterns, little cakes iced with bats on them. Fake wen spray always looks exciting and a fake skeleton hanging up. I make my own costumes for the kids and they are all ready will add pics as they are so cool and also buy lots of sweets and treats for trick or treaters and Lidl You always have great things in store for Halloween 🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃

I like a party with hot dogs, spooky music and grapes for eyeballs. Plus loads of sweets and trick or treating with the neighbours kids afterwards in fancy dress.

Pumpkins tend to go to waste here, innards are scraped into the bin, so for something a bit different try.....

A Halloween Pineapple!

The spiky top makes for a great scary look, hollow out the pineapple, use the chunks with ice cream as pineapple brains and have a pretty unique halloween display with no waste.

I live for Halloween... the second summer is over it is the season of Halloween (it is totally it's own season)

For trick or treating we hook up speakers on our front windows and doors (discreetly ofcourse) and have spooky music and soundboards.

We have scarier ones for the older kids and cuter bouncier sounds for the younger kids.

Halloween is a chance for everyone to dress up, have fun and get a little spooky :)
