The team at TopCashback are all about generating cash back to shoppers online. TopCashback says “the average yearly saving is £325”, so they’re interested in hearing what you’d do if you had an extra £325 a year. Would it go on bills, or would you treat yourself? Would it contribute to a holiday or would you throw a party?

Here’s what TopCashback has to say “TopCashback is the UK's most generous cashback website.Earning cashback is easy. Simply join our 6 million members, search for your favourite retailer and click through to their website. That's it! From there you can shop as normal on their website. That's right, money back for shopping online! There are over 4,900 retailers to choose from, so there's sure to be something for everyone! From electricals to insurance and from clothing to holidays.

In addition to this, all new members to TopCashback can get £20 cashback on a £15+ spend at George. By signing up through this link before 17th September 23:59.

Share what you’d do with an extra £325 on this thread and you will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £325 voucher for the store of their choice (from our list).

Thanks and good luck

I'd spend on my kids add a couple of extra pressies to their xmas bundle

angela121262 · 05/09/2017 12:58

A city break with my partner!

asuwere · 05/09/2017 12:59

I'm currently looking at getting a new fridge freezer so £325 would help make the decision much easier as I hate spending money!

Pipstarz41 · 05/09/2017 13:00

I'd put it towards the works needed on our new house...which there is a lot! Or put it towards a new fridge freezer that would be awesome!

ProfAnnieT · 05/09/2017 13:01

A new tumble drier as ours is on its way out...

tia3456 · 05/09/2017 13:08

It would go towards a last minute holiday

shellywkd · 05/09/2017 13:29

I would buy my daughter a decent camera as she has just started photography at school and her camera is quite old.

lhlee62 · 05/09/2017 13:29

I would put it towards a new boiler as mine is on the blink, we only get hot water when it feels like it!

mooota1514 · 05/09/2017 14:22

I'd treat me and DH to a night at a spa hotel, and the rest would be spent on DC, maybe a nice family day out somewhere.
I should say that I'd spend it on the work we need doing to our house, but everyone deserves a treat once in a while and the work will get done eventually!

meepmoop79 · 05/09/2017 14:40

I think that i would put it all towards a family treat. A weekend break away somewhere. Maybe Warwick castle. I think that is something we would all enjoy.

HELENSCRESCENT · 05/09/2017 14:42

I'd use it to book a short break with the children to visit the Harry Potter studios as I've been promising we can go for ages but not had the cash free and with thy amount we'd be able to stay over and have a nice meal together too :)

Hatethinkingofusernames82 · 05/09/2017 14:52

Oh so many ideas! I'd be tempted to save it till next year and put it towards a holiday! But it would also make Christmas really really stress free and fun! Maybe even some annual passes for the kids for Christmas....ideas ideas ideas!

jacqui5366 · 05/09/2017 15:04

I would buy a new back door, it has been something I have been meaning to do since last winter, but other bills, birthdays and holiday money have meant I could not. So no more draughts and swollen wooden door for me this year.

1Vandal · 05/09/2017 15:06

A lovely cat tree and pine wardrobe for me

DinosaurSex · 05/09/2017 15:06

I would use it to sort out the garden for next summer - at the moment it's too unsafe to play out in and we haven't had the money to sort it since buying the house.

onitlikeacarbonnet · 05/09/2017 15:18

I'd probably use it to pay for a repair to my car which otherwise is very far down my list of priorities.
Or perhaps to finish my kitchen decorating which has been waiting since Christmas because I was so traumatised by the week it took to fit.

OhHolyFuck · 05/09/2017 15:19

Right at this moment - a haircut (not had one in years and my hair is looking crappy for it) and the rest probably on Christmas presents, would do the vast majority on that

FridgeCut · 05/09/2017 15:20

I'd use it to decorate my lounge, it is still magnolia from when it was built, six years ago!

honeysucklejasmine · 05/09/2017 15:23

We're about to move house and have another baby. It may go towards new furniture for the baby, or some lovely garden bits to keep the children entertained, like a play house or swing set.

I use topcashback already and have actually spent this afternoon identifying who has the best rates for energy, utilities, furnishings etc so I can maximise my cashback when setting up new contracts.

starlingsintheslipstream · 05/09/2017 15:28

I would have a splurge on clothes for myself. I rarely buy clothes unless I'm replacing worn out items so I would enjoy buying clothes frivolously.

Would treat my some for his birthday as its been a struggle to buy the things he asks for each year. And a new pair of shoes for myself :-)

daydreambeliever21 · 05/09/2017 16:10

Sheets. Oh I'm so very boring but sheets and towels are what I need most right now.
When DS1 was 2 he took a pair of scissors to a lovely new fitted sheet. There were several cuts but they were on the bit that tucks under the mattress so I confess I left them and continued to use it. Fast forward 13 years (yes really) and said sheet has finally kicked the bucket and was thrown away a few weeks ago. You can guess what state my others are in if I kept hold of a ripped one for 13 years!!

I've just found out I'm pregnant so I'd put it towards a pram etc. I'm infertile so haven't been budgeting for a baby so it would come in very handy Grin
