Inspired by the release of the new film, Smurfs: The Lost Village on March 31, Sony are inviting you to have an adventure of your own. We've let some Smurfs loose on the Mumsnet site, for you to search for as you explore. Follow the clues below and, if you find a Smurf, submit the URL of the page it was on here to be entered in for a prize draw to win a £500 Love2Shop voucher and a Smurfs goody bag. Three runners up will also receive goody bags.

  1. It’s all go go go on this part of Talk – find the latest conversations and threads you can stalk.

2.YABU or YANBU is the answer over here – it’s the part of Mumsnet that some people fear.

  1. Whether you like comedy or drama, we’ve got a movie – find the homepage and everything’s groovy!
  1. Talking about films is the key, and if you look closely there’s a Smurf to see.
  1. In Mumsnet Classics is the Smurf you seek – hiding with a little lost bunny – take a peek!

The new Smurfs film will be out in UK cinemas March 31, with special previews March 25 and 26. You can watch the trailer here:

We’re also offering you the chance to get your hands on an additional £300 Love2Shop voucher. The team behind Smurfs are interested to know about the times your DCs have adopted a Smurf-like spirit of adventure of their own.

Have your kids ever taken themselves on a quest of their own? Perhaps they were searching high and low for a lost toy? Or sneaking into a forbidden part of the house (the biscuit barrel, perhaps) when no one was looking? Tell Sony about the greatest adventures your DCs have been on in the thread below to be entered into a prize draw for a £300 Love2Shop voucher!

Thanks and good luck,

MNHQ

Our camping trips allow our children's spirit of adventure to be best celebrated: they have freedom on site, they pal up with other children for games and adventures, bedtimes are suspended (until it is too dark to see) and then we go on torchlit walks and stare at the stars. We build fires and dens and sit and talk, without distractions of screens. That is why we all love our smurf-like camping adventures!

DS (autistic) managed to open the front door, and climbed not the garden of the empty house next door, using their wheelie bin to stand on! He liked wandering round the overgrown garden so much, that he kept disappearing there. He lost his glasses on one occasion and we never found them,

My five year old has a very Smurfy independant streak - She decided to put on her swim suit, grab the dogs lead, and open the front door and walk down the street towards the canal, and even asked an old lady to hold her hand to cross the road!
Luckily, the lady saw she wasn't meant to be out! So bought my daughter home, who had done all this in the time it had taken me to nip to the loo!
I couldn't believe it, having left her for two minutes watching her favourite Toy Story, she had been so quiet! The Dog hadn't even barked!
My daughter told me she was going for a 'wim wiv the Dog!'
I now have extra locks on the door! lol x

Hi can anyone clear up some confusion regarding the eyfs assessments. Our daughter is 4 1/2 and in nursery. She had a routine assessment this week which shows some "emerging" and "expected" areas which were in her 40-60 brackets. I have no idea what this means and whether I should be concerned as the "emerging" bracket is in red. We have asked the nursery frequently and they just say there is nothing to worry about. Red is never a good sign though!
Please can anyone help

When we were doing a clear out we were bagging and boxing everything up my little girl had decided she would build a castle out of all the boxes whilst we were discussing what goes where . By the time we decided to box everything up her castle was made , she had dragons (teddy bears ) guarding the gates old blue sheets as her moat and a draw bridge across it . We felt so bad we couldn't take it apart

DD likes to go on safari in our local supermarket. She'll declare herself off hunting cats and eventually joyfully declare that she's found a cat (the pictures on the pet food) and imagine herself catching one of them.

This week I've severely restricted their TV usage. They are venturing into toys theyve forgotten about. Playing together which is a skill that's been lost - den making , Lego building crafting. They've been creating games and adventures including with baby brother. It's been ace!

This was my daughter's biggest adventure! Pictured.

She climbed all the tree houses, the rope ladders but then she hit the heights and some of those crossings were scary for us adults let alone her aged 4. She's terrified of heights and she was scared to cross but from absolutely nowhere mustered up the courage to go across! She bounced around like a mad head afterwards because she was so proud of herself!

I'm visiting family right now and couldn't find ds, searched high and low and panicked like crazy then I found him at the end of the garden with binoculours and a lunchbox singing 'we're gong on a bear hunt'

My kids are always up to something but I think my favourite was when the two of them sneaked off upstairs with lots of things they had found around the house that needed recycling and they created a special den for one of their toys, sticking and glueing all their items together. I love it when they get creative, it looked brilliant!

My 3 yo dd thought going to France on a plane was the biggest adventure ever AND it was in the dark! That was the best bit apparently - being up during night time
