We have been asked by our partner Lidl, if we have any MNers with arty children who would like their masterpieces to feature in Lidl stores nationwide!

Lidl say "We're always looking for new ways to help families shop, and as part of this we are rolling out kids trolleys! We have space on the trolleys and trolley bay for some design and we'd love to celebrate all the work we do with Mumsnet by showcasing the artwork of Mumsnetter's children in this space. We'd love to see pictures featuring fresh fruit and veg, or your child's interpretation of family supermarket shopping!"

To enter:
Ask your child to do a drawing on paper of fruit, vegetables or even general shopping - this can be in pen, crayon, paint or whatever medium they like (they can add their first name if they like) - and on A4 or A3 paper.
Take a photo of it and add it to this thread. But do keep the original safe and flat!
All T&Cs are below but be sure to add it by midnight on Thursday 5th January 2017. Lidl with an independent judge will then pick the winners and swing into action.

Lidl will be picking up to 3 winners, and each winning artwork will receive a £100 voucher to spend in Lidl and may have their artwork featured in store and in other marketing materials.

Thanks

So I hate to the bearer of bad news but I just read the T and C and no multiple entries and all entries should have first name and age in bottom right hand corner.

So that narrows the entries down to about five! (We also failed to get it right!)

Haudyerwheesht · 06/01/2017 20:12

In the Op it says 'they can add their first name if they like' so I don't see how what T&C could be enforceable.

toomuchpink · 06/01/2017 20:38

I don't know what the norm is, but I do think if there are basic things which will exclude entries they should be made clear at the top of the thread - not somewhere you have to check separately.

Thanks for all the entries - the winners are yumscrumfatbum, Cedarwood and Byrdie - I have emailed you all now

Totally disagree and I am a graphic artist and jewellery maker. It's a kids competition the prize money is nice but my kids would want to take part just for the one enjoyment and two because they'd be really proud to se their art on a trolley or area of lidl or any where else. And I would support them participating infact my kids 6 and 3 both did art work but we missed the deadline for uploading for entry and my 6 year old even though she was really upset about missing the competition decided to go back and work more on hers. I might upload them when finished even though they won't be entered.Grin
