Ariel have teamed up with Sainsbury’s to support team GB at the Paralympic games, where athletes will have the opportunity to have truly life changing moments, and in light of this, Ariel would like to hear about the life changing moments you’ve had.

Here’s what Ariel have to say: “We have always believed that clothes have the power to bring out our best when the moment matters, but what about when that moment has the potential to be life changing?”

So, share the moments in your life that you feel have been life-changing – whether they’ve changed your life path for the better or the worse.

All those who post below will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Sainsbury's voucher.

Thanks, and good luck!

Meeting my boyfriend (of now 5 years) - little did I know just how drastically my life would change for the better, and what opportunities were out there that he would open my eyes to.

Getting married changed my life, Although it depends on how my day has gone to say if it is for better or worse!
It's like being a single parent to a man child the majority of the time, however marriage has taught me that I can't always get my own way & if you frighten him a little bit he will change the bedding Smile

Buying my first house! It was the beginning of being a proper grown up, and is now a fab home for our little family Smile

Having my my first child - nothing can prepare you for the small and big changes that it has on your life and your outlook.

My life changing moment was spending 72 hrs in hospital with my dad when he was dying. I realised then that petty squabbles are pointless and life is precious and far too short.x

When I had my baby it was life changing as my hubby & I had become quite selfish after eight years of marriage with only ourselves to consider. It was wonderful to have a baby to love & care for, then later continuing my career & successfully juggling it all.

g15grw · 05/09/2016 12:19

It was definitely life changing when I got married at 17 and followed my husband to England. Frightening but exciting.

shroney · 05/09/2016 12:22

changing career paths and finally having the confidence to make the leap and prove to myself that I could do it was life changing for me. It has been a big boost to my self esteem and something I never thought I would be able to do.

being reunited with long lost family who were in Canada

Sitting in my car outside DD's foster carers' house, knowing that once I walked through those doors nothing would ever be the same again....

My most life changing moment was the birth of my first child. You look at life so much differently before you have a child. Prior I was out racing on motorcycles and living life on the edge, having a child made me more cautious. Sold the motorcycle.

When I was 18 I made a lot of financial mistakes with money, and debts escalated. Turning this around was one of the most important and life changing experiences for me, It was tough, really tough.. but I will ensure my children will ever feel that they are losing the will to live because of crippling debts.

I couldn't afford to take my children on holidays and days out because at the end of my working week I don't have much money left.My children we're bored during the school holidays and I felt really bad that I couldn't take them on days out or a holiday.I made a few enquiries in my community and found there are lot's of things we could do together as a family to have fun.We started volunteering at a local public farm helping to look after the animals and volunteered at our local church jumble sale days.We had so much fun volunteering and made lot's of new friends. We now also take part in fun fund raising for local charities and we pack people's shopping at the local supermarket to raise funds for amazing local charities. We have so much fun during the school holidays joining other family's to raise funds in both rewarding and fun.I think it also helps children learn kindness and compassion. There are many fun volunteering things for families to do such as tidying our elderley neighbours garden, cleaning up the local park to help protect wildlife,do a yard sale and donate the proceeses to a local charity,go shopping for neighbours who are poorly and can't get out of the house.I may not have any money for days out or holiday but we are a very close family and we are never lonely because we have met some amazing friends.

It has to be when my son was born, incredible day will never forget it

Cambam2010 · 05/09/2016 13:27

My life waiting moment was waiting for a hospital appointment to see if I had cervical cancer. Those 2 weeks were so tearful. I had all the possible scenarios running around in my head. Thankfully I got the all clear but it has changed my outlook on life and I now worry less and spend more time with those I love.

Sarah3kids · 05/09/2016 13:28

Moving (from one end of the country to the other) - New job, new house, new schools and had we of not moved we wouldn't have had baby no. 3!! And thank you Ariel Actilift - you have stopped me from having many moments where I could have throttled all three of my cherubs xx

feefeegabor · 05/09/2016 13:34

I think having my daughter was my biggest life-changer. It made me completely evaluate work as I wanted to spend time bringing my baby up. I gave up work when she was born and then started my own business, which I continue and absolutely love.

chrisfc99 · 05/09/2016 13:37

Four years ago we moved from south London to Cornwall. We've never looked back. We spend lots of time outside, body boarding, cycling, running and walking. We have a much larger circle of friends and sometimes wonder how we have time to fit everything in!

glennamy · 05/09/2016 13:37

The obvious one is becoming a parent for the first time which was simply incredible... Losing my Dad to an accident in the home when I was just 7 years old, it has had a devastating effect on my emotions to this day making me very guarded...

RACHELSMITH45 · 05/09/2016 13:41

definitely the moment I became a first time mummy. My whole world changed for the better. I love being a mummy and I wouldn't change it for the world!!
