Ariel have teamed up with Sainsbury’s to support team GB at the Paralympic games, where athletes will have the opportunity to have truly life changing moments, and in light of this, Ariel would like to hear about the life changing moments you’ve had.

Here’s what Ariel have to say: “We have always believed that clothes have the power to bring out our best when the moment matters, but what about when that moment has the potential to be life changing?”

So, share the moments in your life that you feel have been life-changing – whether they’ve changed your life path for the better or the worse.

All those who post below will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 Sainsbury's voucher.

Thanks, and good luck!

Going to University - such a cliche but it was not about the education I received in the classroom - it was the lessons outside. I think that is where I actually grew up and could find out about myself.

One life-changing moment that hit me like a ton of bricks was when my 17 year old son decided he wanted to move out, I was so upset. He declared himself homeless and the council provided him with supported accommodation. This was 18 months ago,, and weirdly we got on so much better when he didn't live with me and although I missed him like crazy I saw a huge change for the better in him - he kept his flat spotless, learnt to cook and wash clothes etc. He is now nearly 20, has just landed a full-time job and has asked if he can move back home - I said yes of course! He moves back next weekend and I'm so excited to have him back, I know he has learnt some amazing life-skills and become a more mature rounded person adn I'm very proud of him.

I lost my nephew to cot death, I was so traumatised as we all were, a few months later, my heart kept stopping and one time even for 12 seconds, they wanted to fit a pacemaker in, I was terrified, I ended up with a loop recorder being put under my arm through local anesthetic, It was in for a year, I don`t know if it was caused with stress with what had happened, but it was certainly life changing for me.
