Family life can often be chaotic at times, but often chaos can create the best family memories. Bassetts Vitamins would love to know your stories of when things didn’t quite go to plan, that you can look back on and laugh at.

Here’s what Bassetts Vitamins have to say: “At Bassetts Vitamins we know that family life is colourful and rarely straightforward. However, whilst family days out are a great opportunity to enjoy precious and active time together, families need to be ready and set to go, to deal with whatever challenges the day may bring. Our intention is to support families through the ups and downs of family life.”

So, tell us about a moment of chaos in your family which (eventually) made a funny story. Have camping trips been cut short by a tent collapsing in the middle of the night? Or an attempt to present yourself as a perfectly normal family went horribly wrong.

Whatever your treasured family chaos, Bassetts Vitamins would love to hear it, so post your story below.

All those who share a story below will be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £300 John Lewis voucher.

Thanks and good luck

Chaos ensued when dad got up to go to work and couldn't find his false teeth. He hunted high and low but had to go without. That big presentation he gave without his teeth was hard to get through as he covered his mouth at every opportunity.

Once home, another chaotic search and then the reveal. Little J had put them under h.y pillow for the tooth fairy. We all saw the funny side... .

A few years ago on the way to a family camping trip in Cornwall the trailer blew a tyre, we were on the motorway at the time but luckily it was 6 in the morning so was fairly quiet, the younger kids were laughing as they thought it was funny while i nearly had a heart attack the other half managed to pull over on to the hard shoulder, after calling our break down providers we were informed as it was the trailer not the car they would not come out. next thing two men in uniforms knocked on the car door saying we cant stop there (talk about stating the obvious) to top it all they said someone had to stay with the trailer while we went for a new tyre or it would be classed as abandoned and towed, i dont drive so was the one who had to stay at the side of the motorway until other half had bought a tyre i made my teenage son stay with me the motorway patrol men escorted us right down off the hard shoulder into these bushes and told us to stay there over an hour we were stranded there we had to laugh or we would cry it was like a farce, additionally after fitting the tyre and proceeding on our journey we parked in the services not sure what happened but when we went to drive off the trailer was still parked in the car park it had some how become detached from the tow-bar i spent the rest of the journey paranoid we were going to lose the trailer.
