What will your child be when they grow up? Take the Arla Big Milk quiz and let us know what you think! £250 voucher prize draw!

Arla Big Milk have launched a quiz on Mumsnet and would like you to have a go and let us know what you think of the result!

Here’s what Arla say, "Arla Big Milk has been developed to specifically meet the needs of growing children from ages one to five¹, enriched with essential nutrients to help support children’s growth and development as part of their balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. Arla Big Milk ‘helping your little ones become big ones’."

Ever wondered what your little ones will end up doing when they grow up? Can you imagine them as a doctor? Or a performance artist? How about Prime Minister? Arla Big Milk have launched a fun quiz on Mumsnet - take it to find out what your DC could be when they’re older. Have a go and come back here and let us know what it says. Do you agree with the result? Whatever it is, we’d love to hear what the quiz said and what your thoughts are!

Everyone who posts on this thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £250 Love2Shop voucher!

Thanks
MNHQ

CEO/politician - well, she is bossy enough!

But she wants to be the tooth fairy...

BuzzardBird · 01/09/2015 11:45

Very accurate for DD as a 'carer'...also wants to be an astronaut, scientist, hair dresser and ice cream seller though.

VinylScratch · 01/09/2015 12:08

DD got carer/doctor/teacher. She does love her doctor's set and making her toys "go to school".

CopperPan · 01/09/2015 12:24

Civil servant! Didn't expect that at all, he seems more into science to me.

Ingles2 · 01/09/2015 12:32

Ds2 is a civil servant.. He is definitely a tortoise .. Sure and steady. I think he could be a teacher actually.. History or geography

CheeseEMouse · 01/09/2015 12:47

My daugher got CEO/politican. Which is fine. Though for those that got civil servants remember Yes Minister and where the power lay there...!

Cambam2010 · 01/09/2015 13:01

My DS(5) got Artist! He is the least creative child I know. He can not stand to get dirty and he's favourite thing about doing painting is getting to play in the water afterwards when it is clean up time.

Jux · 01/09/2015 13:28

Apparently she's going to be leader of the free world! Grin

She won't want to be Leader, but sshe'll certainly campaign for the underdog.

(I did have to cast my mind back quite a few years - she's 16 - so maybe it doesn't count.)

throwingpebbles · 01/09/2015 13:30

My son got carer/doctor/teacher which really fits his temperament

My toddler daughter got artist, which seems less likely. At present I would say she is showing aptitude and enthusiasm for a career along the lines of cage fighter/rugby player/aggressive litigator

AGnu · 01/09/2015 14:14

Both DC got artist - they're both weirdly obsessed with instruments & classical music so may end up being artists, of the musical variety! I'm planning on them being the next Flanders & Swann, but with less misogyny... or perhaps film composers. I'd be happy with them being world famous film composers...

SpikeWearingACoat · 01/09/2015 14:16

Ds's result was either a doctor or teacher - he wants to be a doctor when he grows up, his favourite toy is his medical kit. Unfortunately he uses the plastic scissors (meant for pretending to cut bandages) to 'cut mummy to make her all better!'
Well blood letting was a legitimate medical intervention. Grin

Catpawprint · 01/09/2015 14:29

Artist?! Hmmm. Would have to be abstract art.

coffeeisnectar · 01/09/2015 14:39

Dd got carer/doctor/teacher. Not totally off the mark, she's obsessed with watching real life hospital stuff and operations!

GeorgiePorgie123 · 01/09/2015 14:42

Dd got Carer/ teacher/ doctor. It's appropriate really as lots of members of my family (including me) are/ were teachers :-)

asuwere · 01/09/2015 14:53

Dd got carer/doctor/teacher
Not sure how accurate it is, dd changes mood frequently so could be anything... Fun quiz but not a lot of outcomes, bit like zodiac signs really.

mollyonthemove · 01/09/2015 14:56

DD got 'leader of the free world' Grin CEO/Politician, which is hilarious as this was what she was predicted to be when she left nursery!

fuzzywuzzy · 01/09/2015 15:06

Carer/doctor/teacher Dd2 wants to be an architect (she's 10 & spent too many school hols with me when I used to work in a university bursary office, they taught architecture there. She may have it in her head that architects sit around eating brownies all day Blush).

I think she'd be great as a vet, she has a way with animals.

So yes a caring profession would definitely suit her personality.... At aged 10 & 11/12ths (11/12ths is important)

PurpleSkyatthewateringhole · 01/09/2015 15:09

Dd came out as solid and steadfast- civil servant. She's definitely anything but! She's flighty, temperamental, artistic and loves the limelight but is also very caring.

Ds came out about right

PurpleSkyatthewateringhole · 01/09/2015 15:12

Oh, posted too soon
Ds came out about right at thoughtful and helpful - he has considered being a doctor but is toying with other ideas. Hes's 6yrs old. Still KS1 so a long way off making a desicion that big.

PlaysWellWithOthers · 01/09/2015 15:19

Artist.

He's 17 and is studying music at college with a view to becoming a rock god.

The quiz must be terribly scientific then! Grin

Maiyakat · 01/09/2015 15:28

DD - carer/doctor/teacher. She's definitely bossy enough to be a teacher!

elvisthehamster · 01/09/2015 15:31

DD is ceo/politician! Haha she is quite bossy.

MakeTeaNotWar · 01/09/2015 15:31

DD (5) came out as a CEO / politician. I'm not sure, she is more a sheep than a leader despite trying to boss me about at home

Queeltie · 01/09/2015 15:33

DC came out as CEO/politician. DC actually wants to be a spy.

DinosaursRoar · 01/09/2015 15:41

Artist. Not sure that's likely!

At the moment, he wants to either be a paleontologist and work at the NHM or work at the same bank as Daddy, so they can get the train to London and have lunch together every day.
