What will your child be when they grow up? Take the Arla Big Milk quiz and let us know what you think! £250 voucher prize draw!

Arla Big Milk have launched a quiz on Mumsnet and would like you to have a go and let us know what you think of the result!

Here’s what Arla say, "Arla Big Milk has been developed to specifically meet the needs of growing children from ages one to five¹, enriched with essential nutrients to help support children’s growth and development as part of their balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. Arla Big Milk ‘helping your little ones become big ones’."

Ever wondered what your little ones will end up doing when they grow up? Can you imagine them as a doctor? Or a performance artist? How about Prime Minister? Arla Big Milk have launched a fun quiz on Mumsnet - take it to find out what your DC could be when they’re older. Have a go and come back here and let us know what it says. Do you agree with the result? Whatever it is, we’d love to hear what the quiz said and what your thoughts are!

Everyone who posts on this thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £250 Love2Shop voucher!

Thanks
MNHQ

¹The Department of Health recommends that children at the age of one move onto fresh whole cows’ milk and that their diets are supplemented with additional Vitamin, A, D and Iron.

My 2 year old got CEO - what a terrifying thought! Mind you, as the youngest of 3 she already definitely knows her own mind!

gamerwidow · 04/09/2015 22:39

DD (5) got Carer/doctor/teacher she is very compassionate and loves to look after people so maybe .....

Hopezibah · 04/09/2015 22:52

Carer/doctor/teacher was the outcome for my daughter. She adores the Slide in the playground by miles but that wasn't one of the options. She does also easily recognise mary berry but loves mr tumble more so i opted for that.

She loves cooking and says she wants to be an astronaut. But she is very caring so the quiz was spot on there.

Cirsium · 04/09/2015 23:04

DD got carer/doctor/teacher. Probably a bit inaccurate as she is only 7-months-old so there was a lot of poetic licence in my answer choices (I'm a nanny so accurate answer for me). Also no good match for her favourite reaction to new food which is to shovel it in!

AuntyBrenda · 05/09/2015 00:38

DS1 got an artist. I doubt he'd be interested I'm the painting sort but I could well imagine him on the stage.

DS2 got Civil Servant. He was devastated as he wants to be a scarecrow when he grows up.

Funnily enough both children wanted slide as an option on the park question.

IdaShaggim · 05/09/2015 04:50

DD got CEO/Politician

She's a very biddable child so the description didn't quite match!

heyday · 05/09/2015 05:58

He came out as a future CEO/ politician. Can I forsee that??? Yes, could be a possibility. Only got to wait another 18 years or so to find out!! I wait with bated breath.

BikeRunSki · 05/09/2015 06:08

DS - Artist! I don't think this could be less accurate if it tried! DS is very good at many things, but so not creative or artistic! I don't think he'd ever voluntarily picked up a pen or paintbrush until he went to school.

DD- carer/doctor - that's more like it. She is caring and thoughtful. Although she's only 3 she has said a few times that she'd like to be a vet. I think she might just fancy the idea of carrying a kitten around in her handbag all day though!.

Quills · 05/09/2015 06:58

DD1 came out as a carer/doctor - she wants to be an astrophysicist at the moment.

DD2 got artist. Well, she certainly likes making a mess with her food, so I suppose that might be the first step on the career path!

Dottyhols · 05/09/2015 08:42

My 6 year old said a nail technician, she's never been to a nail shop in her life Grin

Bearsinmotion · 05/09/2015 09:26

CEO/politician here. Makes sense! She wants to be a builder though...

lionheart · 05/09/2015 09:31

Civil servant--apparently tortoise like creatures who oil the government machinery at night.

MTWTFSS · 05/09/2015 09:38

DS1 got Artist... I want him to be an engineer/scientist!

DS2 got Carer/doctor/teacher... we'll have to wait and see :)

SpottyTeacakes · 05/09/2015 11:11

They both got CEO/politician which I find hard to believe! Dd wanted to be a waitress but then decided on a dr because she'd earn more money. Ds is only two so would probably like to be a dinosaur.

theredjellybean · 05/09/2015 11:51

dd got artist.....what was with the question about trying new foods...why wasnt there an option for 'yes they scoff anything put infront of them' all the choices implied it was difficult to get children to try new food, my dd actively asks to try stuff

SuzCG · 05/09/2015 13:23

CEO/Politician

Probably along the right lines as she is very much her own person, makes her own decisions and certainly doesn't follow the crowd!

Marg2k8 · 05/09/2015 15:07

CEO/Politician for both of mine.

myusername12345 · 05/09/2015 16:05

Came out as a carer. They can be whatever they are inspired to be.

sweir1 · 05/09/2015 18:06

DD came out as a CEO/Politician

CombineBananaFister · 05/09/2015 20:34

Artist. Hmmm, not going to happen according to him as he doesn't have time to be messing around with paint and stuff. He wants to be an archaeologist (Clutch Powers) and has asked for a moped WITH sidecar for xmas - for all the treasures he finds [grins] Or a ninja warrior - he's 5 btw. Would be happy with archaologist tbh

grassroots · 05/09/2015 20:41

Carer/doctor/teacher. Could be right!

kierie · 05/09/2015 20:47

Civil servant, but he wants to be a Miller, so we'll see which one wins!

AllThePrettySeahorses · 05/09/2015 20:56

Carer/doctor/teacher ...

Perhaps not - she says she's going to be Queen Elsa. Or a mermaid.

Lariflete · 05/09/2015 21:05

I loved this quiz! I did it for DD and DS - DD got artist and DS got carer / doctor / teacher. Both of them seem very appropriate for their personalities at the moment (although they are only 4 and 2, so will have to let you know how that pans out in a few years time Wink )

HelenSw4les · 05/09/2015 21:12

My daughter came out as a carer/doctor/teacher; I'm not the least bit surprised at these, she'd suit them. Just to wait and see now! They need to decide for themselves though, no parent pressure here.
