To celebrate the launch of the Warburtons Paddington film ticket promotion across all of their Half & Half products, the UK’s number 1 bakery brand is asking Mumsnetters to share their families’ favourite sandwich fillings for the chance to win a family cinema gift voucher loaded with £200.

Are you creatures of habit like Paddington with his marmalade sandwiches? Does your family all have the same sandwich filling or does everyone get to choose their own? Simply share your family’s favourite sandwich filling on this thread by 28 November and you'll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £200 cinema gift voucher.

Warburtons say their Warbeartons Half and Half range [do you see what they did there?] are a delicious blend of 50% wholegrain and 50% white flour, to provide families with essential fibre in every bite. Pick up any two packs of Warbeartons Half & Half Rolls, Thins, Wraps or Loaves to get a child’s ticket at all Cineworld cinemas, valid until 19th January 2015. Visit Facebook.com/Warburtons for more information.

Thanks and good luck!

PLUS…Warburtons, a proud sponsor of the world premiere of the new Paddington movie which is being held on 23rd November, is looking for a young star aged 5-10 yrs old to attend the exclusive event as its ‘Bread Carpet Reporter’ and interview the stars. There are also five pairs of premiere tickets for the runners-up. For further details and information on how to enter, visit Facebook.com/Warburtons

Cheese spread and ham - my favourite - especially on half and half bread

Honey -DD3

Peanut butter - DS1

Nutella - DS2

Cheese and Pickle - DH's favourite - although like me, will eat just about any filling.

Tuna, Mayonnaise and red onion is v. good also!

sofieellis · 27/11/2014 11:02

Egg and onion. Make egg mayonnaise as usual and finely chop onion into it and mix well. Yummy

OneFlewOverTheChickenHutch · 27/11/2014 11:43

DH & DD love ham, cheese and Branston pickle

My favourite is chicken, mayo and cherry tomatoes

sweir1 · 27/11/2014 11:58

Salmon paste here for my men. It makes a right mess too!

ladyanglaise · 27/11/2014 12:12

It used to be whole nut peanut butter and apricot conserve (on Warburton's seeded wholemeal, as it happens) but then I discovered Roquefort, crunched walnuts and spinach - no butter - and that is the current favourite. Dolcelatte, fig and honey is nice at the end of summer, as I have a lovely fig tree in the garden. Hubby still prefers smoked cheese, ham and mustard, though. He says my choice of sandwiches is weird...

ladyanglaise · 27/11/2014 12:19

Warburton's wholemeal wraps make fabulous pizzas, too. Squeeze seeds out of a tomato, chop up and scatter over wrap, with torn mozzarella light, thinly sliced onion, black olives, peppers, whatever you have left over (not too much or too wet, though, or the base goes soggy) bake for ten minutes in a moderate oven (gas5/6) and scatter with basil when done. I cut it like pizza on a wooden base with a wheel. Much healthier than takeaway versions.

WomanScorned · 27/11/2014 17:58

salsmum · 27/11/2014 18:32

sweetnuttydogs · 27/11/2014 19:04

my youngest daughter love ham, cucumber and salad cream :)
My 8 year loves cheese and lettuce

ByTheWishingWell · 27/11/2014 19:52

Here it's usually either ham and English mustard (plus salami and cheese for DP) or bacon, brie and cranberry sauce. However, my new discovery is smoked venison, Danish blue and peppery herb salad, with chilli and lime dressing. Absolutely delicious, but a rare treat since I can't buy smoked venison locally!

bantamgirl · 27/11/2014 20:04

God I had a lovely sandwich today (not made by me, unfortunately). It was savoury cheese sandwich filling with chorizo. Gorgeous!

charlJ · 27/11/2014 21:37

Prawn and seafood sauce for myself,
For the family any left over roast meat with apple sauce and lots of pepper

clopper · 27/11/2014 22:01

me- pastrami and grated cheese with gerkins
DH- cheese and huge slices of raw onion
DD- corned beef or rhubarb and ginger jam
DS- marmite or 'rubber ham'
DD1- grated carrot, houmous, felafal
No one can agree. Picnics are a nightmare.

Princessxo · 27/11/2014 23:38

Peanut butter and jelly!

janemphoto · 28/11/2014 00:21

chicken and salad

patchysmum · 28/11/2014 03:19

Tuna and sweetcorn is one all the family loves

MaryDunlop99 · 28/11/2014 09:48

My kids love cheese and onion. Sometimes with ketchup as well!

margaritasbythesea · 28/11/2014 11:19

How can there be a favourite sandwich? How could a bacon sarnie on a Sunday morning be better than ham sandwiches on the beach in summer? How could a cheese steak sarnie be better than a perfectly made cheese and tomato on soft fluffy white bread? How could ham, cheese and sharp pickle be better than tuna and cucumber on granary? Ridiculous question! I love them all!

BeCool · 28/11/2014 11:57

My 2 DC love pretty much any sandwich as long as it has cucumber in it.

Apart from jam - they like jam sandwiches without cucumber. Grin

We aren't big on marmalade in our house.

cheryl100 · 28/11/2014 12:43

We love hot chicken and stuffing :)

serendipity1980 · 28/11/2014 13:01

We often have the same filling as each other - it does make life easier. Popular choices are bacon or tuna mayonnaise! I love a good ham salad too.

knightonian · 28/11/2014 16:49

I'm a traditionalist I take my half and half and make a dairylea and salt and lineker crisp sandwich - it's like being back at schoolSmile

Lagoonablue · 28/11/2014 17:07

Peanut butter on the bottom, add grated cheese, spring onion and chopped red pepper on a Warbies Toastie slice or the new urn Gluten Free roll for me. Yummy.
