To celebrate their mini pots of rice pudding and custard, which hit the shelves earlier this year and are specially developed for children*, we have been asked by the team at Ambrosia to find out from you what tastes make you happy! We all know some flavours and food are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face - or to your childs', or may even remind you of a special meal or occasion.

Ambrosia say: "we think that Ambrosia my mini pots taste like happy! They are a great way to mix up a mundane lunchbox, and as they are easy to pop in a handbag, are always there for when hunger strikes. And a happy child, means a happy mum/dad. What does happy taste like to you?"

The Ambrosia mini pots range is specially developed for children* and contains calcium and vitamin D, which are needed for normal growth and development of bone in children. They contain no preservatives or artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners, but are full of dairy goodness. They have a long life and don't need to be chilled, so they are perfect for stocking up on reserve and for use out and about too. For all ingredients please see here

Each pack of 6 has a recommended retail price of £1.49.

Please share your happy tastes and flavours on this thread - or those of your DC - no later than 28th November 2014 - and you'll be entered into a prize draw where one MNer will win a £100 Amazon voucher and a selection of Ambrosia Goodies**.

Please note, your comments may be included on Ambrosia's social media channels, and possibly elsewhere, so please only post if you're comfortable with this.

Thanks and good luck

Spending a relaxing day with my family and chocolate.

stephgr · 26/11/2014 01:48

for me "happy" tastes of vanilla and nutmeg. Anything that tastes of almonds also cheers me up!

Mummycherry2 · 26/11/2014 02:02

I've been weaning my DS for a month and his absolute favourite thing is mango and passion fruit :-)

For me, it'd be mojito flavours ;-) lime, mint and a splash of rum!!

libra101 · 26/11/2014 07:07

Chocolate and Baileys, especially at Christmas!

Rigbyroo · 26/11/2014 07:34

Creme brulee makes me happy.
Violet and rose creams are so delicious, anything flowery tasting!

ergomaniac1967 · 26/11/2014 08:45

Gosh which ones should I choose - I'm a real foodie! My absolute favourites are mangoes, well any tropical fruits really. Also, love the salty taste of salted caramel ice cream.

CK12232 · 26/11/2014 10:50

The DD really loves pineapple, like really loves it.
For me, I'm most happy with a big chunk of cathedral city lol!

Before answering, I asked my OH what taste made him feel happy, and he told me when he was a kid his Nan always gave him bananas and cold custard for dessert, and he still enjoys it now as it reminds him of then.

jazzitup · 26/11/2014 16:18

A quality milk or plain chocolate bar or fresh mango Mmmm.

wobblywindows · 26/11/2014 16:31

apricot jam, bottled greengages, morello cherries, or best of all a fluffy gooseberry fool- but not too creamy.

cagsd · 26/11/2014 17:50

dark chocolate if we're talking sweet, or spicy flavours for savoury tastes.

sweetnuttydogs · 26/11/2014 18:19

I love oranges and my daughters love strawberries, orange, grapes mixed in the juicer :)

Jezzamk · 26/11/2014 18:33

Dark chocolate makes me happy

mumsbe · 26/11/2014 19:15

Chocolate fudge cake and ice cream
sticky toffee pudding and custard
a cup of tea and a double chocolate cookie dipped in
These are the things that I think taste like happiness!

For my daughter it would be chocolate ice cream chocolate cake and pancakes with chocolate onto

janemphoto · 26/11/2014 19:28

grandee2 · 26/11/2014 19:29

ginger - puddings, biscuits, cakes, sponge with custard, cheese scones, caramel & nutty icecream especially in a cone and enjoyed walking by the sea. x

happysouls · 26/11/2014 19:44

Cheeses! Garlic! But when it comes to deserts I love cinnamon, I also mix it in with my porridge every morning!

Tzibeleh · 26/11/2014 20:11

Ripe, really ripe watermelons and mangoes are the taste of childhood for me, and two of the most evocative flavours and textures. They taste like perfume smells.

Em86 · 26/11/2014 20:22

It has to be toffee

ddpunk182 · 26/11/2014 21:09

MaryDunlop99 · 26/11/2014 21:26

cathyov · 26/11/2014 22:02

My mum's cooking for me and think my kids would hopefully say the same!
