Netflix would like to know what your favourite Netflix TV show is and why.

With so many great series available to choose from on Netflix, fans often find it’s hard to pick a favourite. From hit US dramas like The Good Wife, to hilarious comedies such as Fresh Meat and Suits, and cult shows like Sons of Anarchy, they feel sure there's something for everyone to discover and enjoy.

Members also have exclusive access to Netflix’s original series, including the fourth and final season of the dark detective drama The Killing, as well as Lilyhammer, a fish-out-water tale about a New York mobster living in Norway.

So, what is your favourite TV Show to watch on Netflix? Do the endless twists and turns of Homeland keep you on the edge of your seat? Do you scare yourself silly with the supernatural thriller American Horror Story? Maybe you like to put your analytical skills to the test with quirky hospital drama House? Whatever it is, we’d love to hear about it - and why you keep going back for more!

Check out the Netflix hub on Mumsnet to find out what TV series are currently available and coming up on Netflix.

Everyone who leaves their comment on this thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £250 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck,

Someone has mentioned to me the built in obsolescence of Apple.

winkywinkola · 21/11/2014 18:39

Whoopsie. Wrong thread.

jessicar922 · 21/11/2014 20:09

House of Cards - love Kevin Spacey!

helcrai · 21/11/2014 20:15

Orange is the new black. It's total escapism- funny as anything and easy to pick up from last episode. Husband likes watching it too so no arguments about tv!

Aethelfleda · 21/11/2014 20:17

Ooh, The Returned!! (Les Reveneux)
Season one is creeepy!
Can't wait until season 2 is out (they are filming it now). Until then it's rerun time....

I have loved so many shows on netflix. From the obvious breaking bad which everyone was talking about to Chuck which is something I never would have looked into had it not been in my suggested shows. I am now working my way through House, which I have seen most of but not in order. Love it so much.

superkittycat · 21/11/2014 22:39

Breaking Bad - it's just so adictive!

superkittycat · 21/11/2014 22:42

Addictive rather - oops! Sleepy!

We love Netflix in out house, we watch very little live tv now.

Top of the list has to be the Office US - DP and I discovered it together quite early into our relationship and soppy as it sounds we feel like it grew along with us. I was devastated when it ended.

The other thing we tend to watch together is Malcolm in the Middle. We think it's genius. We're also Trekkies so the more star trek the better. We loved Breaking Bad too, but for me I can't watch it over and over like I can watch other shows we love.

When I'm watching without DP, I loved the Good Wife. House of Cards was great too, and suits. Waiting on the new series of each of those. I loved Greys Anatomy but have gone off it since series 10, to me it's a bit ridiculous now (I don't want to say why due to spoilers, just in case!). Currently watching the West Wing. I started it after DC3 was born but found I couldn't keep up with it, I went back to it a few weeks ago and it's great.

My final input is Pride and Prejudice, I've watched it so many times on there!

fazkin · 21/11/2014 22:58

We had a breaking bad marathon so absolutely loved it.

GirlOverboard · 21/11/2014 23:36

I just started watching Breaking Bad the other day and it's amazing!

VickyRsuperstar · 21/11/2014 23:46

Breaking Bad is on the top of my list, but atm I've been too short of time to watch it!

mindingalongtime · 22/11/2014 10:04

House of Cards, original and new version, compulsive viewing, and I loved Homeland so much I'm watching it from the beginning again!

hanloulou85 · 22/11/2014 10:25

I absolutely love House of Cards...but netflix is best for indulging my guilty habit of watching US tv shows probably more suited to teenagers like gossip girl and life unexpected!

amybeth11 · 22/11/2014 16:13

With so many good choices it's hard to pick just one! I guess I would have to go with Orange Is The New Black as my number one. It's a popular one but seriously, there is nothing not to like about it! I ended up having a marathon while on maternity leave and watched every episode in a week. Not even guilty!

The abundance of strong female roles is refreshing, and the inclusion of lesbian and transgender characters is shown in a really positive light, I think it highlights a lot of taboo issues in a dry comedic way and that's why it stands out so much.

Close second and third would be American Horror Story and Dexter.
