Netflix would like to know what your favourite Netflix TV show is and why.

With so many great series available to choose from on Netflix, fans often find it’s hard to pick a favourite. From hit US dramas like The Good Wife, to hilarious comedies such as Fresh Meat and Suits, and cult shows like Sons of Anarchy, they feel sure there's something for everyone to discover and enjoy.

Members also have exclusive access to Netflix’s original series, including the fourth and final season of the dark detective drama The Killing, as well as Lilyhammer, a fish-out-water tale about a New York mobster living in Norway.

So, what is your favourite TV Show to watch on Netflix? Do the endless twists and turns of Homeland keep you on the edge of your seat? Do you scare yourself silly with the supernatural thriller American Horror Story? Maybe you like to put your analytical skills to the test with quirky hospital drama House? Whatever it is, we’d love to hear about it - and why you keep going back for more!

Check out the Netflix hub on Mumsnet to find out what TV series are currently available and coming up on Netflix.

Everyone who leaves their comment on this thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £250 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck,

Im getting quite hooked on breaking bad, after my daughter raved so much about it I just had to watch it.

IceLemonGin · 20/11/2014 15:53

I love Orange Is The New Black...it's just unlike anything else I've ever seen. I have 2 episodes left to watch but I'm saving them for my Sunday night treat. Does anyone know when the new series will be out?

graceyyxx · 20/11/2014 15:57

Breaking Bad

aurorablues · 20/11/2014 16:17

There's so many :)

Breaking Bad - Simply Wow! I'm on my second rewatch.

Orange is the New Black - Brilliant and funny show with really loveable characters. Will be rewatching soon.

Californication - Simply Hilarious. David Duchovny is brilliant! Have watched this twice. I wish UK Netflix will put the last two season on.

Gaily38 · 20/11/2014 16:23

I really love watching House of Cards, Kevin Spacey is such an amazing actor, i love him.

MaryDunlop99 · 20/11/2014 17:29

Callico · 20/11/2014 17:53

Currently watching Dead Like Me, it's different and quite funny. unfortunately there are only 2 series but I'm sure we'll find something else to watch afterwards!

nic013 · 20/11/2014 18:07

We like regular show and Lego ninjago

FreedomHuntress · 20/11/2014 18:17

We are nearly at the end of series one of The Good Wife, and absolutely loving it. I love Netflix, so easy to choose a good series to watch, and avoid adverts.

DS's favourite is currently Caillou. (DS is four.) We mainly use Netflix for him.

cluckyhen · 20/11/2014 18:17

WhoeverYouWantMeToBe · 20/11/2014 19:07

Breaking bad.
Finished it two weeks ago and having withdrawal symptoms worse than those from meth Grin

chelington · 20/11/2014 19:12

Breaking Bad of course!

suewilly · 20/11/2014 19:18

Scandal is my favourite. Don't want to give too much away for anyone who hasn't seen it but I'll just say the twist with Olivia's father was a corker!

mjmooseface · 20/11/2014 19:19

Netflix, if we tell you, will you promise to not take them down for a while, please?! :)

I only ask as, I was watching 'Lost' from the beginning (having never watched it before) and I spent many an hour (whilst feeding my new baby at the time) watching and enjoying this show. I had 7 episodes left until I had COMPLETELY finished and what did you do?

TOOK IT DOWN. It was gone. Just like that!

Oh, the anger I felt. The tears, tantrums. The sheer disappointment. I swore I would never watch another show on Netflix again (I still haven't watched what have come to be known as 'The Lost Episodes of Lost')...

..And then I found 24.

Ohmygod 24 was amazing!!! It took me about 5 months to watch it from beginning to end! What commitment! ;)

I also love Modern Family (until you took it down, waaah!) and 'The (US) Killing' was absolutely fantastic! I love re-watching 'The (US) Office', too! I loved watching The IT Crowd and Portlandia is soo funny! Hemlock Grove is so bizarre but great!

I have many shows still to watch on my list: House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, Dexter and Breaking Bad to name a few that I know will be good as everyone says so! And I've seen bits and pieces of them already when The Husband has been watching them but want to watch them properly myself!

Netflix. I would love if it you could tell us how long a TV show is going to be up on Netflix so we know if we need to cram in a few extra episodes to make sure we watch it all before it disappears! For instance, if we rent something on 'Blinkbox', it tells us 'expires in 6 days' etc so we know we need to watch the show/film in 6 days before it goes. (Of course, that is different as you could just re-rent it, whereas on Netflix, once a show is gone, who knows when/if it will come back again?!)

P.S. Fellow Netflix-ing MNers! I use this website: netflix.maft.uk/. It is 100% unofficial but it tells you what all of the latest additions and removals are on The UK Netflix! It is great! There is usually a big update on the 1st of the month so look out for that!

lissee68 · 20/11/2014 19:19

Sherlock. My daughter watched the series when on tv but i didn't get into it but enjoying now!

janemphoto · 20/11/2014 19:20

Breaking Bad is the best ever series that has come out of America.

Blondie1982 · 20/11/2014 19:30

Orange is the new black is brilliant

happysouls · 20/11/2014 19:32

I'm not with Netflix but seeing that Breaking Bad is on there makes it tempting to sign up! I've never seen it but its top of my viewing binge wishlist!

blondiebonce · 20/11/2014 19:34

We watch Planet Earth! Got Netflix to keep me going during my maternity leave and it keeps me sane! Can feed/knit/iron/cuddle in front of it :)

purplevamp · 20/11/2014 19:36

I love watching Arrested Development. Not many people I know watch it and those who have don't get the very subtle humour. But I love it, it's so funny
