Netflix would like to know what your favourite Netflix TV show is and why.

With so many great series available to choose from on Netflix, fans often find it’s hard to pick a favourite. From hit US dramas like The Good Wife, to hilarious comedies such as Fresh Meat and Suits, and cult shows like Sons of Anarchy, they feel sure there's something for everyone to discover and enjoy.

Members also have exclusive access to Netflix’s original series, including the fourth and final season of the dark detective drama The Killing, as well as Lilyhammer, a fish-out-water tale about a New York mobster living in Norway.

So, what is your favourite TV Show to watch on Netflix? Do the endless twists and turns of Homeland keep you on the edge of your seat? Do you scare yourself silly with the supernatural thriller American Horror Story? Maybe you like to put your analytical skills to the test with quirky hospital drama House? Whatever it is, we’d love to hear about it - and why you keep going back for more!

Check out the Netflix hub on Mumsnet to find out what TV series are currently available and coming up on Netflix.

Everyone who leaves their comment on this thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £250 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck,

katief1001 · 17/11/2014 22:34

breaking bad

FrenchieMum2Be · 17/11/2014 22:46

It has to be Breaking Bad! This is so fast faced, violent and crazy, it kept me on the edge of my seat.

matphil · 17/11/2014 23:23

House and Sherlock at the moment.

aussiegeckogirl · 17/11/2014 23:27

Breaking Bad is absolutely fantastic!

fitflopqueen · 17/11/2014 23:44

Now bereft, just seen the last episode of The Killing, hooked all way through, more so the characters rather than the actual storyline.
Not sure if I can get into the Danish version.

Any other suggestions along similar theme?

crispydragonfly · 18/11/2014 04:30

I am hooked on Breaking Bad

Madamecastafiore · 18/11/2014 05:07

Orange is the new Black.

I love the dark humour but it's a bit of a nightmare to get time to watch with the kids here. I end up rushing all of my jobs on a Wednesday morning to get a couple of hours peace to catch up in the afternoon when the elder ones are at school and dd is at nursery.

AmericasTorturedBrow · 18/11/2014 05:19

Breaking Bad and Orange is the New Black to binge on...New Girl and Parks and Recreation to dip in and out of

Trudyla · 18/11/2014 09:19

Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Orange is the new Black, The Good Wife.

All of them are such good quality.

Oh, do I have to choose one? That's hard, but probably Breaking Bad. Go Walter!

mrsbunnyw · 18/11/2014 11:22

House of Cards was great. We watched it end to end. Also The Killing though we were disappointed that it was released in stages so we had to keep waiting for the next episode!

sleach · 18/11/2014 11:33

Breaking Bad

kirstycooper01 · 18/11/2014 11:40

going for the obvious but love orange is the new black :-)

duckbilled · 18/11/2014 13:00

Justified is the best show on Netflix! Just enough humour mixed in with the drama Smile

LinnyBee · 18/11/2014 13:15

House of Cards - a brilliant political drama full of intrigue and anticipation to keep you glued to the sofa. Perfect for those cold winter evenings Smile

hannibalismisunderstood · 18/11/2014 13:31

American Horror story - can watch all the seasons as a refresher whilst watching season 4 on Fox now

HannahLI · 18/11/2014 13:34

Homeland is my love at the moment, except I have to watch it early in the evening due to its dark and twisted plot!

torajii42 · 18/11/2014 13:36

Breaking Bad

MegMogandOwlToo · 18/11/2014 13:37

American Horror Story - great acting, unusual story lines and just the right amount of horror to keep me on the edge of my seat.

worldgonecrazy · 18/11/2014 13:44

Misfits - I'd forgotten how funny it was. Seriously, stock up on Tena Lady before watching!

JuneFromBethesda · 18/11/2014 13:55

All these votes for Breaking Bad! My husband raves about it too, I watched the first few episodes and it did absolutely nothing for me but I clearly missed something ...

My votes would be:

House of Cards - so clever and so incredibly well-made. Really classy tv.

Firefly - I never saw this first time around and as a former Buffy fan I'm so glad I finally got the chance. Loved it, such a travesty that it was cancelled after one series.

Grey's Anatomy - yes it's soapy and frequently silly but it kept us hooked all through ten series, even my husband who was initially very snooty about it Grin

I love Netflix. So many new programmes still to explore Smile

Stinkystinkypoopoohead · 18/11/2014 14:03

Love Orange is the New Black and am currently working my way through Suits.

Also really enjoy dipping into Ugly Betty and Buffy for some blast from the past!

Roomba · 18/11/2014 14:32

I got Netflix on trial so that I could watch Breaking Bad - LOVED it so much that I have watched it all the way through, twice. And I kept the subscription going as I was impressed with the TV series selection (had Lovefilm for years but the TV stuff wasn't as good).

I am now a lone parent, so Netflix is my sneaky pleasure when I have got the kids to bed (finally). I love Orange is the New Black, Homeland, The Killing, House of Cards (both UK and US) and Nurse Jackie! Also working my way through Prison Break which is ridiculous but I can't stop watching it.

It's great for my kids too - my eldest loves watching Doctor Who, Spongebob and Avatar, and the toddler loves Thomas the Tank Engine and wildlife documentaries (he loves animals).

I very rarely go out these days as no babysitter, am broke so can't spend money on anything that is not essential - but I would not give up Netflix as I consider it the best money I spend. Especially when you look at how much packages with Sky et.al. cost.

lotterylucky13 · 18/11/2014 15:13

Like alot of people..has to be 'Breaking Bad'...I never have time to watch TV so one day decided on the 30 day free trial and one of the films i watched was the excruciatingly brilliant 'breaking Bad'..I was hooked for weeks! But alas after the 'trial' period could not justify or afford the subscription fee :(

CK12232 · 18/11/2014 16:15

Definitely Breaking Bad!

My DP preferred House of Cards though Smile
