Netflix would like to know how you’ll be spending your time now that the kids are back at school. Maybe you’ll be finishing that blog post you started writing two months ago. Or perhaps you’ll be finally making use of your neglected gym membership. Or you might want treat yourself to a precious moment relaxing with your feet up, a cup of tea and your favourite Netflix show.

Netflix is available anywhere where there’s a Wi-Fi connection, and can be watched on numerous devices, including mobiles, tablets, smart TVs and games consoles. With a huge selection of quality films and award-winning TV shows, including access to Netflix’s exclusive original programmes, there’s always something new to discover.

You can see how other mums are using Netflix by visiting the Netflix Bloggers page here.

So, how will you be using Netflix now that you have a bit more time to yourself? Do you work part-time and savour your afternoons relaxing after a hectic morning by indulging in an episode of Suits? Are you grabbing an hour to yourself catching up on Orange is the New Black on your iPad while luxuriating in the bathtub? Once the kids are safely tucked up in bed, are you and your DH enjoying binge-watching the final season of The Killing on your smart TV? Whatever it is, Netflix would love to hear about it!

Everyone who posts on this thread will be entered into a prize draw to win a £250 Love2Shop voucher.

Thanks and good luck,

I am obsessed with netflix. I don't think I could have made it through pregnancy without it! I have been watching white collar series 1-4 a quippy fbi based drama with a twist and lost girl- full of sex creatures and witty one liners! plus the awesome netflix original series OITNB HoC HG etc. I cancelled sky once I saw how much was on the site. best 5.99pm I ever spent. Smile

Try and watch one film a day

finleypop · 21/09/2014 09:50

My free time will now be spent repairing the mess created during the holidays! I love Netflix & we watch it every evening. At the moment we are watching Breaking Bad

tinam1 · 21/09/2014 09:51

Looking forward to finally watching last season of breaking bad.

chunkychocky · 21/09/2014 09:53

A friend has just recommended 'Orange is the new black' so I plan to start watching that now that I have a bit more time!

jennywren7 · 21/09/2014 09:58

I mostly watch Netflix on a Friday and Saturday evening when my husband is at work and I have the tv to myself. It's such a treat not to have to fight over what we want to watch and I am working my way through all the zombie flicks at the moment!

jdunthorne · 21/09/2014 11:43

With 3 kids including a very energetic toddler, I'm a bit late to the party so I'd love to start watching Orange Is The New Black and Breaking Bad!

lizd31 · 21/09/2014 12:12

I haven't used Netflix yet but I recently bought the first series of Orange is the New Black on DVD & I'm going to have to join Netflix so I can watch the 2nd series

BizziLiz · 21/09/2014 12:14

I just didn't 'get' Breaking Bad but I'm loving Orange Is The New Black and planning on House Of Cards next.

lickulmiss · 21/09/2014 12:20

Now the Children are back at school i have canceled my sky subscription and signed up to Netflix in the hope of saving a few £ Watching Orange is the new Black and have to agree with all the fuss its brill, well done Netflix

Cirsium · 21/09/2014 12:25

I use Netflix mainly to watch series, currently Scrubs on my own and Grimm with DH, we also watch the odd film. We even watched 24 with 3G on our phones when camping a couple of years ago. I love that I can watch on my ipad when I'm doing evening babysitting and that as Netflix remembers my place on all the devices I use so I don't have to find it each time. Also being able to watch on more than 1 device at a time means DH and I can watch the same thing in different locations and chat on the phone about it, or watch different things if we choose. We watch so much on Netflix that we cancelled our TV licence.

juju3 · 21/09/2014 12:28

Watching Bates Motel

kldubbleu · 21/09/2014 12:55

Catching up on all the box sets.

emweaver84 · 21/09/2014 13:07

I still have two at home so don't get any free time now the eldest is back at school .

Julie2146 · 21/09/2014 13:14

I'll be using it to watch Films while catching up on ironing ??

Krakken · 21/09/2014 13:16

I put Netflix on my tablet and watch series like Buffy and Gossip Girl while doing some cleaning, cooking and other chores. They're good shows as you don't need to concentrate fully on them and it makes doing chores much more bearable.
I'm watching Breaking Bad in the evenings with my dh at the moment. It's one of the rare shows we both enjoy.
I also put a film on the tablet for the kids to enjoy in bed. They love it.

luijo · 21/09/2014 13:16

Im going to be starting a new job soon so I'm using my my free time trying to catch up wiith Modern Family, and then when I get back into a proper routine my hubby and I will watch it once the kids are in bed. We don't get out that much so watching all the great programmes available will be our treat on an evening.

Gbear0382 · 21/09/2014 13:41

Trying to get out in the fresh air a bit more whilst catching the odd film I missed out on when it was showing in the cinema :)

happysouls · 21/09/2014 14:01

I don't think there is ever any spare time as such, its all spent getting organised and planning!

vidd · 21/09/2014 14:11

Would love a rehash of Breaking Bad

RunByFruiting · 21/09/2014 14:20

With the eldest toddler at preschool 3 afternoons a week now, the youngest & I usually find Yo Gabba Gabba or Bubble Guppies worth dancing around to!

I look forward to when they both go to bed and I flump my fat pregnat butt on the sofa & watching something deliciously trashy (Ru Paul's Drag Race is just brilliant, or one of the older slasher horror films!) or one of the more thought provoking documentaries (Call Me Kuchu; about Ugandas first openly gay man is powerful).

We're just about to start Justified as our watch together Netflix show having done Breaking Bad, OITNB & Buffy.
Would love to see Hell On Wheels on there at some point

cluckyhen · 21/09/2014 14:52
