We all sometimes wish we had some extra time in the day, and we've been asked by Cif to find out what Mumsnetters would do with a spare 20 minutes.

Here's what Cif have to say, "Our latest cleaning product - Cif Express Direct to Floor can be used direct on the floor and small surfaces for a sparkling clean home. It leaves a long lasting and fresh fragrance. It's suitable for tiled, laminate and washable/ varnished wood floors. To use, you simply squirt the product directly onto the floor, then wipe with a damp mop, there's no need to rinse and it dries really fast! Now available in Antibacterial, Lemon & Apple Flowers and Wild Orchid & Velvet flowers, the RRP is £2.00 for 750 ml."

Check out the MNers review video here (and check out their feedback here):

Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner saves you time, so Cif would love to know what you would you do with a spare 20 mins each week.

How would you spend those extra 20 minutes? Maybe you'd have a lie in? Or watch an extra episode of your favourite sitcom? Perhaps you'd read a chapter or two of a new book?

Whatever you would do with your spare 20 minutes, Cif would love to hear about it.

Everyone who adds a comment will be entered into a prize draw where one lucky MNer will win a £250 voucher for the store of their choice*.

Please note comments on this thread might be used by Cif on their website or on their social media channels: please only add a comment if you're happy for your comment to be used.

Thanks and good luck,
MNHQ

Have a hot cup of tea - with a toddler in the house, I never get to drink one!

KarlWrenbury · 15/06/2014 18:46

I'd sit on the sofa having a cuddle with my cocker spaniel pup - I spend a lot of time cleaning up his muddy pawprints but I'd love extra puppy playtime.

StealthToddler · 15/06/2014 23:02

Sleep.

MooseyMoo · 16/06/2014 07:01

I love reading but don't always get the time so would grab a book, hot chocolate and a croissant and get lost in a book. Though I have just discovered Sky On Demand boxsets and they have Tru Blood ...

CheeryCherry · 16/06/2014 07:06

Like many other posters, I would appreciate a hot mug of tea and some peace in a steaming bubble bath with a book/MN/Facebook.

ThisBitchIsResting · 16/06/2014 07:30

I would climb back into bed and snuggle into the pillow and sleep. With a massive mug of tea.

MrsSteptoe · 16/06/2014 09:29

I'd find a story on the BBC News website or similar and write a bit of flash fiction inspired by it, with a very low word count like 10 or 15 words. But it would have to be at the same time every day. #tendtowardstheritual.

I would make a phone call. To one of the many people whom I care about but who never seem to get to the top of the list of people to speak to - like the husband of my best friend who died two years ago or the lovely woman I worked with a number of years ago and now never see unless we rush past each other at an event at school.

I'd do a YouTube Pilates session to try and help get my body into a less flabby shape post baby number 2.

AlfieandAnnieRose · 16/06/2014 13:16

I would have a lay down and read a good book. It would have to be a book I'm really enjoying reading though.

beatofthedrum · 16/06/2014 21:00

I would pour a glass of wine/cup of tea depending on time of day and phone my faraway-best-friend who I hardly ever manage to speak to.

BooRooandTiggerToo · 16/06/2014 21:12

20 minutes to myself...
I'd give myself a manicure and paint my nails
I'd enjoy a bath without anyone knocking on the door to use the toilet
I'd enjoy a power nap on the sofa
I'd watch the favourite part of my favourite film

likklemum · 16/06/2014 21:51

I'd have a list of how to use my 20mins each week so I could look forward to that time each week. My list would include
Tea and lemon cake in a coffee shop
Book outside in the garden
Painting fingernails (toes are always done but never seem to find the time for nails).
Magazine and chocolate bar
Doze
Pimms
And also- absolutely nothing. A stare at the ceiling with hands behind head whilst flopped on the sofa nothing! Don't think I've had one of those since I was about 20!

LadyWithLapdog · 16/06/2014 21:54

I'd do meditation practice. Bliss!

lottietiger · 16/06/2014 22:35

I'd probably go in my greenhouse and plant some seeds without ds blundering in tipping soil everywhere and breaking all my pots :)

rydley · 16/06/2014 23:31

I would love to have a relaxing massage and a box of chocolates.

SweetPeaPods · 17/06/2014 06:17

I love reading but since ds arrived I don't think I've picked up a single book. I would love 20 mins to be totally engrossed in a good book without disruption, maybe even in the bath with a cuppa

MaddAddam · 17/06/2014 09:29

Go for a swim. Or a run. Or do a bit of gardening. Or do homework for my Spanish course. Or read a book.
Can I have 5x20 mins?

DrankSangriaInThePark · 17/06/2014 10:22

I would turn off everything electronic, dig out my old teenage diaries, and wallow in the memories of how uncomplicated life really was when you were 19 and with the world at your feet.

Cambam2010 · 17/06/2014 11:15

20 minutes to do anything but not house work? I'd be curled up on the sofa with a HOT cup of tea, packet of biscuits and a magazine. Not done this in ages!

Bicnod · 17/06/2014 11:29

20 minutes? Just for me?! I would curl up on the sofa with a hot cup of tea, some chocolate biscuits and my book. Or if it was sunny I'd sit in the garden with the same. Lovely.
