We all sometimes wish we had some extra time in the day, and we've been asked by Cif to find out what Mumsnetters would do with a spare 20 minutes.

Here's what Cif have to say, "Our latest cleaning product - Cif Express Direct to Floor can be used direct on the floor and small surfaces for a sparkling clean home. It leaves a long lasting and fresh fragrance. It's suitable for tiled, laminate and washable/ varnished wood floors. To use, you simply squirt the product directly onto the floor, then wipe with a damp mop, there's no need to rinse and it dries really fast! Now available in Antibacterial, Lemon & Apple Flowers and Wild Orchid & Velvet flowers, the RRP is £2.00 for 750 ml."

Check out the MNers review video here (and check out their feedback here):

Cif Express Direct to Floor Cleaner saves you time, so Cif would love to know what you would you do with a spare 20 mins each week.

How would you spend those extra 20 minutes? Maybe you'd have a lie in? Or watch an extra episode of your favourite sitcom? Perhaps you'd read a chapter or two of a new book?

Whatever you would do with your spare 20 minutes, Cif would love to hear about it.

Everyone who adds a comment will be entered into a prize draw where one lucky MNer will win a £250 voucher for the store of their choice*.

Please note comments on this thread might be used by Cif on their website or on their social media channels: please only add a comment if you're happy for your comment to be used.

Thanks and good luck,
MNHQ

Have a cup of tea, read a newspaper in peace and quiet....

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 14/06/2014 19:58

Paint my toe nails.

spicers1976 · 14/06/2014 20:14

I would spend the time reading a book

Cheesecakefactory · 14/06/2014 20:52

Radio playing low in background while reading a magazine with a nice cold drink hopefully sitting in the sun in garden.

flamingtoaster · 14/06/2014 20:58

With a spare 20 minutes I would put some relaxing classical music on, lie down, close my eyes ... and waken up an hour later!

MaryWestmacott · 14/06/2014 21:02

I would sit in the garden, with a strong coffee and read a couple of chapters of the book I've failed to finish since Christmas. (Must finish it before holiday, I want to take a new book away!)

Or sleep.

cskontig · 14/06/2014 21:47

20 minutes=20 pages in a book. That may equal to three books more within a year. Great.

houseoffallenwomen · 14/06/2014 22:34

20 mins? I would call my best friend and find out what she's been up to. she's very impulsive.

milliemoon · 14/06/2014 22:46

I would get the guitar out again. I haven't played it since my son was born

aJumpedUpPantryBoy · 14/06/2014 23:07

Walk the dog. There's a lovely circuit down a leafy lane and through a corn field that takes 20 minutes.

YeGodsAndLittleFishes · 14/06/2014 23:16

I'd go for a run. 20 minutes is just right for a mile and a bit circuit and a quick shower.

Or I'd spend another 20 minutes learning German. (Will be spending the summer in German speaking city where DH works).

Or some drawing, photography.

Or making a start on sorting out the collection of photos in the loft.

Or just sitting with DCs and enjoying a hug and a laugh with them.

weejeannie · 15/06/2014 00:14

Alter my favourite dress, which is now too big since the 5:2 diet!

KillmeNow · 15/06/2014 00:25

I would go for a run

learn a new language

Take up a new hobby

Sort out family photographs

Do good for mankind

Sit on the sofa with a bar of chocolate and a book Grin

YeGodsAndLittleFishes · 15/06/2014 01:03

Killmenow Grin

Purplehonesty · 15/06/2014 04:35

Ooh I would have a cuddle with dh on the sofa, hopefully without the kids interrupting. We would watch the news instead of paw patrol or umizoomis!

whereisshe · 15/06/2014 09:23

Sleep!

BarbaraPalmer · 15/06/2014 10:03

i would plan to read important literature

i would end up fannying about on the internet looking at cat pictures

Redtartanshoes · 15/06/2014 10:34

I'd have the energy to do Jillian Michaels 30 day shred.

And after 39 days I'd have abs of steel in my dreams

Fillybuster · 15/06/2014 11:19

Ooh, gosh,,,I'd probably spend 20 minutes just trying to decide what to do with the time!

I'd either:

Bake a quick batch of biscuits
Watch 20 mins of masterchef (I'm still at the quarter finals!)
Tidy the house (far too likely)
Sit down with a cup of tea and a good book
Think about breaking out Jillian Michaels and then wuss out

Sadly, I think I need way more than 20 mins extra to get on top of all the chores that really need doing, let alone the things I'd like to do with that time....

I'd make a traybake - and eat it! ;-)

Iamsuperluigi · 15/06/2014 15:42

I would choose an old tape of favourite songs and sing along full blast.

hyperhops · 15/06/2014 17:36

I'd sit and sort through the hundreds (yes literally) of photos of DC I have on the computer and choose some to order as prints to go in a nice frame on dining room wall. Have had frame waiting for 2 years no LOL!

ohforfoxsake · 15/06/2014 17:49

I'd sit on my arse, stare out of the window and listen to silence.
