silverfrog · 10/06/2009 21:19

hello

my step daughter is 18, and has AS.

she is heading off to uni soon, so there could well be stormy times ahead (she's not that great at being independent...)

pagwatch · 10/06/2009 21:22

I have somewhere now to ask questions about DS2 googling Victorias Secret ....

Lovely and very shiny section you have here

2shoes · 10/06/2009 21:33

I will be posting next week of the joys of having to look at the 6th form college I don't want dd to go to, but the LEA do!!
so I am getting the guns ready for the battle ahead....
I only just found out that dd goes to a private school(that has it's own 6th form, where she will go)

Saggarmakersbottomknocker · 10/06/2009 21:34

My dd is 15. She has complex congenital heart disease. Apart from that she's a typical teen. Stroppy

pagwatch · 10/06/2009 21:39

it is famous American brand of lingerie and swimwear with incredibly beautiful models like Heidi Klum etc

end of an era

i am a little bit sad

scared

and happy

psychomum5 · 11/06/2009 00:40

I have two, so far.

custy, about your twins!! how very exciting

my two are 15 (nt) very stroppy, just discovered alcohol

and 13, severe dyslexia, but otherwise NT. well, I say that....I often think that she has been cloned with an alien and the REAL DD2 is somewhere out there, with ET, trying to ring home.

DD3 will be a teen tho if I blink a few more times.....she has medical needs with crap immune system. ho hum. and just realised I forgot her meds tonight before bed

BigTech · 11/06/2009 10:51

Sorry to be testing in here but it is necessary. Please ignore me, i was never here....

Lancelottie · 11/06/2009 10:58

Ooh, I have, I have!
Can i add my shiny new teenager (Aspergers, 13, just!) to your shiny new section

saintmaybe · 11/06/2009 11:10

Ds is 10, and has autism, but is hitting puberty shockingly hard and early (before his elder brother).

So although he isn't a teen, we're starting to face all those issues, and I don't always feel very comfortable sharing them with parents of younger dcs, or even those who are more 'typically' 10.

BigTech · 11/06/2009 11:25

Sorry again, just one more hopefully, remember never here.....

LollipopViolet · 11/06/2009 12:13

I'm a teen! For this year at least (eep 20 this birthday ) Anyway, for those that don't know me, I'm visually impaired and constantly dealing with the pain in the bum that is not being allowed to drive

2shoes · 11/06/2009 12:45

saint I think the sn teen thing is wider than in nt iynwim

OP posts:
troutpout · 11/06/2009 14:27

I nearly have one
(ds is 12 with aspergers and dyspraxia)...can i lurk to get a heads up on the future please?

marmoset · 11/06/2009 16:47

I'll be lurking here for next year - ds1 has Down Syndrome and just turned 12.

saintmaybe · 11/06/2009 17:28

I'm in then, if that's ok

Could really do with it as well!
