Weirdo!

Jimjams · 05/06/2005 18:42

nope I'm still lost. I actually do not understand this rant at all. Who isn't recognising who's autism???

sandymogs · 05/06/2005 18:43

Yes, exactly Sax.Tht's what I thought.

aloha · 05/06/2005 18:44

She means YOU!

Oh Lou, where is your hat?

sandymogs · 05/06/2005 18:44

Well jimjams your not recocnising mine are you??????????????????

Oh I made a spelling mistake in my last post.Anyone notice?

Jimjams · 05/06/2005 18:44

answer the question please sandymogs.

aloha · 05/06/2005 18:45

Gasp! could it be......barriesmart?

misdee · 05/06/2005 18:45

sandymogs are you saying you are on the spectrum?

happymerryberries · 05/06/2005 18:45

Well, Jimjams, I'll put money on you being able to spot ASD at 100 yards. Why this person thinks that she has to tell this thread (of all on MN) about ASD is beyond me.

lemonice · 05/06/2005 18:45

Research is surely undertaken in a careful and non antagonistic fashion, this is not research it's inflammatory attack on people.

Chocol8 · 05/06/2005 18:45

Sandymogs - what is going on? I have a ds who is AS/ADHD, and understand like the other daily posters here what it is like to live with every day, day in, day out.

You obviously do too, so why the fighting talk? Please, your words have caused offence to me and to other MNers. SNs board is not the place to have a fight - we're not used to it, we have daily problems of our own to keep us busy. I for one, do not need this thank you.

sandymogs · 05/06/2005 18:46

Aloha I took it literally you see.

happymerryberries · 05/06/2005 18:46

Aloha

Jimjams · 05/06/2005 18:46

And how exactly would we recognise yours from a pile of offensive postings? None of the adults I know with AS are offensive (any more than anyone else anyway).

MABS · 05/06/2005 18:47

is this a child posting I wonder?

Jimjams · 05/06/2005 18:48

I thought barriesmart as well aloha - or normal service who is the one and same i think. But I did a search and Sandymogs made some postings before barriesmart/normal service/ any other weirdo from that site came across us.

Jimjams · 05/06/2005 18:49

couldn't be barriesmart anyway she's too scared to go anywhere near disabled people especially autistics.

Davros · 05/06/2005 18:54

Oh dear. First of all you've completely misunderstood and despite attempts to clarify you have chosen to continue to misunderstand. My problem at the moment with watching ANY TV prog about ASD or reading any book about RL ASD is that I'm having big problems with DS at the moment and things just upset me. I can assure you that I have a LOT of experience of children who are "hf" and their families, not just as friends but as a voluntary support worker, and I completely accept and can see for myself that they have a huge set of problems, just different ones to us. In fact, as my mucker Jimjams has said many times, it can be somehow easier if your child is "lf" because the choices are clearer.
Then coming out with this weird, unwarranted outburst is just mystifying. You're not testing anyone here and, if you were, why not read some of the older threads? I think you've been at the Sunday afternoon grog, wish I had, but soon!

moderatorlou33 · 05/06/2005 19:07

Have called mnhq directly, they are dealing with it now

sandymogs · 05/06/2005 19:11

Well, posts were just as offensive about me, don't you think?
