Night, night, sleep tight.

TheRealMrsF · 05/06/2005 19:34

I just feel so sad about this....i read a thread that SANDYMUGS posted on about someone's HV being confused between AS and ADHD...and to be honest 'liked' THAT sandymugs.

I wish THAT sandymugs had posted on this thread.

And yes Socci...i am on the spectrum....and have sometimes worried myself sick over something someone has said that i either took literally or thought was directed critically at me.....but i have tried to rationalise it and either stopped looking at the thread that bothered me...or hid in a corner!!!!

I have my best friends on here...and there are times when i have posted some very personal stuff ...and to think that someone could 'destroy' me so easily with such cruel language is scarey.

TheRealMrsF · 05/06/2005 19:36

Actually i've just realised who SM is......she's ALL my Family & Inlaws rolled into one.

The SM on the other thread i read sounded a good person.

moderatorlou33 · 05/06/2005 19:37

thank goodness this is calming down now

Rachel (mumsnet) · 05/06/2005 19:37

We've deleted some of the offensive comments made earlier because they were clearly personal attacks. We want to allow this thread to continue - because as someone says earlier, it did start off as a genuine and informative discussion - so let's hope it goes back to being just that.

moderatorlou33 · 05/06/2005 19:38

hoorah reinforcements!

TheRealMrsF · 05/06/2005 19:38

Ner-ner-ner-ner-nerh! I've just killed the threh-ed!!!!

TheRealMrsF · 05/06/2005 19:39

Well...i tried!!!

But agree that this should be used to discuss THAT PROGRAMME....and NOT to make us reluctant to post.

Chocol8 · 05/06/2005 19:46

Sandymogs - if you joined this thread for research purposes - why not start your own thread elsewhere - TES for example?

Anyway, personally I still think that you should be banned from MN for all the insensitive things you have said about other MNers here.

You have offended Mums with enough on their plates and being a mum with an SN child (or so you say), you should know better!

jsut wanted to add a little positiveness to this thread in the light of the unbelievable posts from earlier.

HAIL the ever-wise,extremely knowledgable, warm ,funny and sensitive SN regulars...

sandymogs · 05/06/2005 22:38

Oh my goodness what on earth has been going on?
I've just returned from work and found these posts with my user name!.I've just the posts and am absolutely ashamed and appalled.I don't know what was in those other posts but they must have been bad to be removed! I can assure you that these posts were not from me!.My son certainly does not have the imagination or skills to post on this. We had a neighbour round today who likes to play with my 2 dd's on the computer as he's not got one at home. It must be him unless my computer has been hacked (if at all possible?) and I will be speaking to him tomorrow about it! I doubt whether I'll allow him to come in here again. The odd thing is my son doesn't really talk to him unless it's about one of his obsessions, I just felt sorry for him really.I can only appologise deeply for the hurt caused and I feel too ashamed to come on here again. Please accept my sincere apologies to all and hope you are able to forget about it

anniebear · 05/06/2005 22:47

sandymogs

A lot of people may not read this thread now.

Maybe you should start off another thread with an apology, that way more people may read it

sparklymieow · 05/06/2005 22:51

ScummyMummy · 06/06/2005 00:36

Has anyone got a video of this programme they could lend me? Desperate to see it but was at work. Would be eternally grateful and pay postage etc.

(Sorry to see that the thread went so pear shaped, btw. Blimey.)

ScummyMummy · 06/06/2005 18:33

bunny2 · 06/06/2005 18:50
