OMG Is it possible to see massive changes after only 1 week of dietary change???

Have taken out all processed foods and giving as much organic as possible to all of us.
I have noticed the biggest change with dd (aged 5) it's untrue. She is calmer, more loving and is even being rather chatty this week.
She was so funny earlier as she even asked to do her sensory program!
It was just things like going the library this morning and queueing up with her books and so calmly as well.
I think that 1 she may have found or gained something from Bibic and 2 it must be her new non-processed diet.
Whatever it is I am very happy all the same

Hi Louismama

It is £700 but most families do recieve a bursary so you wouldn't pay for all of that.
I would just like to add again how positive the experience has been for my family. Even if we had paid £700 (which is a lot of money to us) it would have been worth it for the peace of mind they have given! Anymore questions please ask.
Oh and juust wanted to add that anyone can call and have a free phone assessment and then they will tell you if they can help or not.

JAYZMUMMY, how long does the bad bit go on for (after the first 10 days?)I think we are in it!

jayzmummy · 11/04/2005 03:43

Oh dear!!!! The bad phase kicks in about 7-10days after the diet change. It lasts for anything from 2 weeks upto and, I hate to say this, 6 months!!!!

Epsom salts baths combined with liquid biocidin help to cleans the body of toxins and it is the toxin levels changing that causes the behaviour change.

We were "lucky" J's behaviour change lasted for about 12 weeks....I truely thought I was living with a "mini Damien" and a couple of times it got close to me abandoning the diet all together....but I didnt. I stuck with it and can honestly say J's behaviour is 100% better than it was proir to the diet change....just wish the blitter would sleep though because I am exhausted!!!!!

tigi · 11/04/2005 09:58

thanks so much for replying, we have been processed free for about 4-5 weeks, and we really have gone backwards from seeing an immediate improvement. he is very grumpy, and having extreme mood swings, tears to calmness. I'm hoping he might be better at school today where they will keep him busy! Will get some epsom salts tommorrow.

decmum · 11/04/2005 11:38

Does anyone know at what age you can start to give the Omega3 oils and in what form they come in?

tigi · 11/04/2005 11:52

I use the eyeQ in lemon. (you can get it in boots). The label says for adults and children, but does not specify a minimum age. I started to give it age 4 i think

tigi · 12/04/2005 14:33

I tried to but some epsom salts today, but they said he was too young to have them - have to be 12. (he is 5.6)

Tigi, might be a bit late, but you can use Epsom salts in the bath as well. Also seems to work - via absorption I guess. DS2 unfortunately drinks a lot of the bath water so it wasn't doing his digestive system much good, but worked a treat to calm DS1 down when he was 'withdrawing'. HTH!

Jayzmummy · 15/04/2005 18:30

Never heard of a child not being llowd Epsom salts before.....I spoke with my nutitionalist and she said there is no reason why a child can not be bathed in Epsom Salts, however it would not be wise to allow a child so young to drink it.

I'd try another source if I were you. Its great for getting rid of cellulite by the way!!!!

Jayzmummy · 15/04/2005 18:31

llowd? should check before I post.....that should be allowed!!!

Blossomhill · 15/04/2005 19:17

Still everything is looking positive. It has been 2 weeks since the dietary change and I still have a very calm little girl who is concentrating so much better. No behaviour crash (yet!!!!)

thanks singersgirl and jayzmummy. It was the Tesco pharmacy, and she read the bottle warning out to me. I had only intended it for the bath, but she said she could not sell them to me.

Blossomhill · 25/04/2005 18:27

Having a not so good weekend. Don't get me wrong dd's behaviour isn't outrageous but she is definitely playing up and acting as though "something" is bothering her.
Today she said she had a bad day at school and was on the sad face. She said she was "stompiing" whle the teacher was talking, little madam!!!

Wonder what's triggered that?
Anything odd to eat end of last week?
Or is it that full moon?

Blossomhill · 25/04/2005 20:30

Actually JakB we did go to a party and she had some cake and mojos Well I couldn't say no really as all o fthe other kids were having them.
Although I have to say she was acting strange before that. Could be the full moon!

Update

Things have calmed right down again, thankfully.

I can honestly say that the results are remarkable. Had a meeting with the school and they too have noticed a huge change in the amount that dd now concentrates. Her attention span is so much better and she now east all of her dinner, whereas before she would pick at it.

I am just so pleased with the results.
