I believe some DM just get through cases quicker than others as those two would be assigned different people. Only thing that makes sense to me x

SD 29/5- long time lurker, anyone with a similar date I rang today and was told it’s definitely 20 weeks and I should have my decision on 16th October. The wait is excruciating; hope it works out for everyone!

It's a longer wait for me as I sent it back just before the 6 week deadline too! Crazy really.

Pretty sure DS' claim was 13 weeks' wait for decision in 2022.

Scan date 26/04 been with DM since Tuesday called 4:00 yesterday still wasn’t seen, I have just seen back pay that’s due to go into my account in 4 days. 18+ 6 days from SD

Was awarded today hopefully not long now 🤞🏽

Are you with Monzo? I wish I had the advance BACS warning! I used to have it a day ahead with HSBC, but NatWest don't do it. Annoying!

Yes it’s in my Monzo otherwise I wouldn’t of known until next week, glad stress is over.

Scan date 26/04 and also been with DM since Tuesday.... Just got off the phone for the 4th day running and..... Still with a DM! My anxiety is through the roof!

This puts me off calling! If I don't call, I have Schrodinger's DLA decision, rather than a refusal! 🤣

scan date 29/4 just called no decision yet but I asked if it was with a decision maker the lady said yes getting nervous now xx

I opened a Monzo account especially for my daughters DLA (assuming we get awarded it). I have only used the app to activate the debit card. Where does it show upcoming BACS on the app? Is it on that first page when you go in to it?

I last spoke to them yesterday about 4ish said was still with DM, my anxiety to was bad so I thought I would give them a call then I had a ton of payment invoices from Apple “my son”🤦🏽‍♀️ so went to check the damage and saw payment pending it must’ve got paid in today as it’s Monzo and shows 4 days early, hopefully any second now lol yours may be done🤞🏽

It shows in your payment activity, and says 4 days however when you click it, it says come back Monday at 4pm for early payment, wasn’t there last night or early hrs, saw it about 12 today

And yes first page where you see it says activity. x

Thanks. Today was the most nervous I've been when calling them, even my voice was shaking. My daughter used to get MRC and LRM but I was living such a nightmare trying to cope with work and her needs that when her renewal was due I didn't get around to sending it so we have had no help with her needs at all for the last 2 and a half years. Her needs have increased massively since then but I just keep seeing so many people being refused DLA and I have a constant sick feeling that we will be refused.

I didn't even know that was a thing on Monzo so I'm excited to hear that. I usually bank with Nationwide and they don't give us that luxury! I've gone in to the app about 5 times since reading that! haha. I think I will probably end up wearing a hole in my phone screen keep checking every 2 mins now. The unknown just does my head in!

MC awarded as they mentioned no night time care however this is true and untrue as DS is fine sleeping but only on the condition that I have to go bed with him. It's been this way for 5 years and I forgot to detail it as it's just the norm for me. So appeal route it is, does anybody know if there is anyway I can have this documented or proven for instance a sleep clinic or something?

Yes for night time needs we had sent sleep diary and sleep clinic referral. Haven't got award yet so can't tell you outcome! We are about to send paed report although the case is already with a DM. I just spoke to them and they said we won't need to do MR if we disagree with award? Not really sure how it all works. But paed report also covers sleep for us xx

27/04 got a text this afternoon and decision made this morning! MRC for our 8 month old moderately deaf son Literally over the moon. We sent it back late but it’s been backdated to 11/03!

just waiting on our other moderately deaf son with a stamp date of 03/05!!
