DS met a lovely boy at the playground today

Boy was similar age to DS, possibly slightly older (in Reception), and was extremely patient getting DS to play fire engines with him, despite DS being a bit unresponsive at attempts to talk to him at first, and being a little slow to understand what he wanted him to do. Nice to see them playing together, but a bittersweet feeling in terms of how behind DS is. Now what's the odds that we never see the lad again

Thanks for putting that together, it's very useful, nearly all of it is very relevant to DS and/or things I want or do with him anyway. If he remains in mainstream, the school is very small and there are always at least 2 members of staff on playground duty, when I go in at lunch time, the playground always seems under control, so hopefully that won't be a flashpoint area.
