Have just joined at dh's request but feel like a complete billy-no-mates - virtually nobody I know in RL is on there.

Anyone here who'll be my friend?

It's not really a place for making friends. It's a place for keeping track of people you already know in RL (or from somewhere like Mumsnet), and arranging to meet up with them. Try inviting people you know in RL who have email to join and you'll soon achieve critical mass.

I've friended you geekgirl. If anyone else wants to friend me from there, please go ahead.

Its ahrdly difficult to work out who I am LOL in the MN group with my rl name

its great for getting ancient friends (and the bloke I had a MAHOOSIVR crush on) to get in contact, LOL! (am wondering if he knows he is gay yet- everyone else thinks so.... must look at his apge...)
