we use regular and small Jaffa cakes and also those huge Smarties, regular Smarties and tiny M&Ms (although shelves mysteriously free of these at present)
Anyone else have some really great ideas/know about mini versions of branded goods?

I'm not really sure what you're going to be using it for... I'm used to mini everything for my daughter/niece/nephews... they love mini chocolate éclairs that you can find in any boulangerie here alongside the normal sized ones.

Anna8888 · 21/06/2007 18:22

I think you can get mini hot cross buns and mini jam doughnuts in Waitrose...

Anna8888 · 21/06/2007 18:23

Those Whisky / Vodka minis that you get on aeroplanes?

moondog · 21/06/2007 18:23

No matter Anna.
It's for a picture based communication system for children who are not yet verbal.(I'm a salt). Attributes like this can be transcribed pictorially into concepts which equate to using adjectives in speech.

Wonderful ideas-they will be widely disseminated.

(Not many Laduree macaroons to be seen in North Wales however but we can dream....)

I'll take a look when I next go around the supermarket - I've bought everything mini going in the past but don't think I've got total recall...

Anna8888 · 21/06/2007 18:32

Mini Inava toothbrushes - they're just like the adult ones

gess · 21/06/2007 18:47

we use biscuit crumbs as well. Can make 1 biscuit last 3 hours....

Anna8888 · 21/06/2007 18:52

mini (individual) packets of Kellogg's cereal

Anna8888 · 21/06/2007 18:53

mini packs of butter (the size you get in aeroplane meals) - Président and Elle & Vire do these in supermarkets

sphil · 21/06/2007 18:53

Mini Jammy Dodgers! In separate packets inside a large one so they don't go stale either.

Russian dolls???? (DS2 loves stacking but not sure he loves it enough to request as a PEC)

moondog · 21/06/2007 18:54

You can also (at xmas) buy those fuck off big toblerones, and then also get a smaller one. (I'm thinking long term planning here!)

Blandmum · 21/06/2007 18:56

Ohh I'm getting into this.

Dare I admit to 'Cookie crisp' b'fast ceriel and then a normal sized maryland cookie???

Or will I get banned for my plebian tastes????

moondog · 21/06/2007 18:56

Ooh,I saw tiny Toblerones in Turkey.Dd used to get one after an hour's work on reading/writing.
(Such is advantage of never giving chocolate to your kids-they do anything for it.)

You can get tiny toblerones in Waitrose, in fact if my memory serves me correctly there's a whole area of minis near the sweets section.

moondog · 21/06/2007 18:57

Cookie crisp cereal??
i will be sneaking down uncharted aisles wearing a false beard (as opposed to my real one) and glasses.

Can you get tiny Weetabix or have I dreamt it?

I'm going to find out where you shop MD, and get someone to follow you, making sucky noises!

moondog · 21/06/2007 19:00

I will go into supermarket all paranoid and hunted. Was already looked at v strangely today for scurrying through a remote Welsh village with a laminator under one arm and my rotary cutter under the other.

Home demo on making and producing PECS pictures!
