I just noticed a thread on the Conception section which I normally ignore or whizz through because it had Jimjams' name in the title. Turns out, SEN girls, she's up the duff!!!
Congratulations Jimjams and family! How exciting
Now, you know I'm an expert (or I think I am at everything!) so please come here to ask us all for advice or to share your news.

I feel 'complete' with 3 children....we take up 2 tables at mcDonald's (now that is a sign of STATUS!!!) and i reckon it's a 'juggling act' because we only have 2 eyes/ears/hands and legs (thank god you say!) ....and with 3 kids the maths don't work!!!! Then ofcourse add in the ASD and it really is a case of juggling! I am glad (most of the time) to have DH as at least we are able to take turns going shopping etc....now mine are all at school i fit doctors appts around school too....

We've just started practicing walking outside again Davros- with just me- and with ds2 in the buggy. We go to the paper shop - where they know us well- and he's usually safe there (although has been known to run out of the door once or twice- but its the sort of place where I can safely dump the buggy and ds2 and run after him).

He's funny as well. We bought a bolt for the door as we found him outside wandering around one morning and now he shouts if we forget to put it on and drags us back to the door :-)

It's regressiont hat always gets me as well Davros. When ds2 was tiny friends would say he was fine becuase he was so smily/had such good eye contact etc, but then so did ds1- nothing unusual as a baby at all really.

congrats on your pregnancy jimjams lots of love

Jimjams, I hope my comments about regression etc haven't upset you I'm sure you're much more resilient than that though, remember the episode in the Virgin shop?!! Funny that he reminds you about the lock on the front door, DS now reminds me to put his seatbelt on if I forget or I'm too slow although at one time we had such a problem with him undoing it and had to stop constantly, now he wants it on! Good idea to practice the walking out and about now, especially somewhere manageable and safe with friendly people around who know you.

Congratulations Jimjams

oh no didn't upset me Davros- not at all. Just regression is the horror of horrors isn't it? IF we have a precocious girl I'll be worrying about Rett's! Maybe a precocious boy would be better

Jimjams what great news! CONGRATULATIONS!!
Our dd2 arrived when ds1 (the Aspergers one) was 3.3, and he was delightful with her until she got mobile and started messing up his Lego. Three years on it's still a problme, but dd2 has learnt to keep out of trouble..
I'm sure you'll manage fine - hope you continue to feel well with the pregnanacy
