I've ordered an expensive blender (not the famous £500 Vitamix) but still £240 to blend DGSs food better and easier. They have shipped but not charged my credit card....so I have been honest and informed them Grin My halo is still straight but i did consider waiting to see if I got away with it LOL!! Grin

2old2beamum · 12/08/2013 21:02

Bugger it. El needs an OP. only small and one day but a week to recover I think as its to descend his testicle, so it'll be sore in his chair with his extending. Also waiting for mini button fitting. Won't look good on school record all that time off. Typical but I guess it's not major so got to thank blessings in that way.

Isitme. You need a double buggy! Phil and teds are nice but expensive but lots of used ones on eBay.

I think the overnight feed el has makes him more pukey in the day. Will experiment with a DIY blend with goats milk and almond milk.

Xxxx to all

2old2beamum · 13/08/2013 15:03

DGD
Re double buggy years ago if you a child with a disability that should be walking and you had a baby wheelchair services would provide you with a double buggy. Am seeing OT tomorrow and I will ask her.

Oldsneeze sorry about El could they not do the 2 ops together Annabel had her PEG changed when she had her colostomy done. Just a thought.

xx to all

Giddypants · 13/08/2013 20:45

I could cry, poor el, and his little boy bits, it's just one thing after another Sad the ops are in 2 different hospitals so can't be done at the same time.
Still having a few wobbles here, bad week last week, hoping to feel better soon.

When Alex was brand new before 7 weeks as I remember telling FIL Elliot kicked Alex in the head whilst I was feeding him, I think it was mostly an accident but who knows.
They are good with each other now, just the occasional squeezing going on but nothing major.

I've carried on the trend of missing all of Alex's firsts, (smiled, giggled, rolled front to back all for mum) and this aft rolled back to front whilst I was with el at hospital. I think she shoved him over personally Wink as he's not done it since!

2old2beamum · 13/08/2013 21:23

Oh Giddy I could cry for you Sad But hang on in there please
We were so lucky Our beautiful boy Stefen needed surgery and our brilliant surgeon had a "paper" morning and drove 60+miles to our "local" hosp to put a central line in and jej It still brings tears to my eyes.
Keep your chin up it is a bad spell that will hopefully pass.

sneezecakesmum · 20/08/2013 21:06

Nothing much here. alexibooboo rolling both ways, elbear peeing 3 more times on the toilet despite trying to hang on to it....a very funny little boy with CP trying to cross his legs lol!! Couldn't resist DD pushing on his bladder, she says I did that to her Shock

.....pause....me answering phone..........!!!

Old fart is supposed to be house sitting but has buggered off to his friends for a meal. Said house's Alarm is going, home owner texting my home number Confused from abroad somewhere, me having to phone her Shock (at cost) asking for her ex's number (said friend is the ex!!! gf also at said meal Angry), me ringing ex and asking him to get OF back to his ex home to sort out the bloody burglers faulty alarm. Twatty OF of course has an even twattier phone which he never answers...I am very irritated on behalf of betrayed STBX wife who has entrusted her £1 million + home to an OF who consorts with her ex instead of looking after it!!! Should I put that in AIBU to be very irritated with him on her behalf??

2old2beamum · 21/08/2013 13:02

Oldsneeze Sad I think your OF beats mine so you ?win Grin

Pleased about Alex peeing in the right place.
Life here on coast teeming with Grockles who stand in the middle of the narrow pavements so have to push wheelchair on road Angry (carnival week too)

Hope all is well

Giddypants · 22/08/2013 21:21

And she did push my bladder when I was little, especially hen we were heading out," do you need a wee" " no mum" crossing legs, being absolutely desperate, but also too lazy to go upstairs to use the loo! Hmm

Isitme1 · 23/08/2013 05:35

Grockles are bloody holiday makers who stand round dithering and block aisles / pavements, bless them we would not exist here without them Smile
What a wicked mother you have Giddy I hope she does not still do it!!

DGD all my home growns refluxed but stopped once they started solids but we started them so much earlier in the "olden days" Had a good friend who started her DS on Weetabix at 3 days ShockShock but he was 11.5 lbs OUCH. How is DGGS 1 have you sorted out the double buggy yet, I spoke to our OT who suggested you spoke to your OT as some authorities will provide one.

All well here it has been a long hard slog this holiday as no respite since 2nd July and am knackered but both have 5 nights from tomorrow.
Both at school holiday club today £20 each plus 120 miles driving. OF has taken them I am supposed to be doing housework Sad
