We have to be there for 8am!! [urggh] He is on the afternoon list for the Botox and will be put under a GA. Very nervous and worried about the GA. But I know this is the best thing to do.. so won't be here tomorrow.. wish us luck :)

Good luck hun.

whats the treatment for?

sparklymieow · 13/03/2006 17:42

He has Cerebral palsy and he has had a lot of problems in the last year with walking, so they are going to do Botox injections into his hip and thigh muscles.

Good luck Sparkly, you're very lucky going to GOSH, I couldn't get a referral there. I've heard botox is very effective, how long do the effects last?

anniebear · 13/03/2006 19:32

Hope it all goes ok and you are alright

Good luck for tomorrow. DS has had half a dozen GAs so far. It's not easy seeing them go under. He recovered very well each time, up and about as soon as the anaesthetic wore off.

chonky · 13/03/2006 22:06

good luck sparkly & min-mieow :)
