nicola- I think wanting more children is one reason to want to understand the cause. We fekt that our son's autism wastriggered- or at th very least the severity was triggered. We have therefore avoided jabs with the 2nd two. DS2 is fine- waiting to see with ds3.

Agree completely about special schools. The staff at ds1's are fantastic.

Yes we did the same we had single vaccinations worried about the cause on him with the injections, but 1year later he got diagnosed with ASD ever since then we have been very worried about giving him other injections in case it can cause more harm to the autism

Starting to get interested in spcial schopol. for the very first time SAm kicked off in front of a a professional (social worker, disability team) the other day- wow!!!!!!

he turned around and said 'when you get your dx there's a specialist autistic school 2 miles away that'd take him'

A) VALIDATION! Hurrah!
B) Sensible advice! Hurrah!
C) Options if it all blows up again.... bigger hurrah!
