Hi all. Enjoying the lovely weather?

Do you like my new name? I got bored with the "1".

Oh, she's on endless interventions. None of them work though.

They have promised me she'll get 1:1 tuition this term. If this doesn't materialize I will seriously throw my toys out of the playpen.

Not really sure at what point I give up on school and home school her - because she wants to go to school and doesn't want to stay home.

Hi folks didn't get on here last night so thought I would pop in this morningSmile.

Dd3 has done 3 days in her new school this week and seems calm and relaxed, she has been opting out of the 8 year old girl thing and spending time with 2 boys from her class who use wheelchairs.

It is great that she has the option to not use all her energy on social stuff and she seems really happy so far.

She has eaten lunch outside so hasn't had to face the dining hall yet.

This week has been very laid back with lots of gardening and outdoor stuff so will have to see how she gets on next week when it's back to indoor work.

I went to my first ever inclusion partnership meeting yesterday as part of my job, it was great and a huge step forward for my local area.

Hope everyone has a good weekendSmile.

My poor Dd2 is on her first D of E camp in the peak district, in the rainSad. Bless them I hope they can keep their stuff dry.

That's lovely, Ineedalife. It'll take time to find her feet, but she's getting there. Smile

Ooh, what's your job, sounds interesting.

Thanks ellenjane... I am afraid its not that exciting, I am SENCO in a Preschool. LOL.

Oh yes, I remember. You are a useful person to have on here, you'll never be short of people wanting your advice. A foot in both camps. Maybe you should keep quiet about it, or no-one will want to give you advice! Grin

Yes you are right about having a foot in both camps, it was having quirky children that led me to be interested in being a SENCO, also I find that the parents who I work with are more relaxed because they know I have actually experienced some difficulties with my own Dd's.

As far as being given advice, I am learning every day and if I ever think I know it al I will resignWink.
