Feeling very down about DS1

DS had a really bad day at school today (of course, it's the last day before half-term - unlikely to be coincidence as he's always been awful with changes and transitions).

DH (who collects him) has not been able to get teh bottom of what happened. The class teacher was out of the room, but apparently DS1 had run-ins with two children. He hit one girl over the head with a book, and got in a fight with the other. These are both children that he's had "incidents" with in the past.

DS1 wouldn't tell the teacher what had happened, or DH either, but another child in the class told DH as they were walking home that someone had ripped DS1's work. DS1 is now saying that he "can't remember" anything.

Feel very down about this. Got to go home now and put a brave face on it and jolly them all along through bathtime and bedtime and then try and cheer DH up. Have raging PMT as well.

Sorry, bit of a pity party here.

Thanks blueteddy!

Tigermoth - sorry, didn't reply to you earlier as I was in a rush - but I really hope you get to the bottom of what happened with DS2.
