Poor DD, no 121, her little friend that used to help has been moved to another class

So she is wandering around lost, late for lessons, doing no work when she gets there

She won't go to Student Services, "Can't you sort it out mummy?"

Has she said any more?

KatyMac · 14/09/2010 17:27

No - & now DH is off into hospital which can only make things worse

Oh Katymac. You must be feeling like it's coming at you from all sides. I hope your DH gets well soon and your DD doesn't get too stressed about it.

Make sure you look after you too.

Thanks - I can cope with either/or but not both together

Will you be able to cope with the CAF meeting on Friday? I don't think it would be unreasonable of you to suggest postponing it.

KatyMac · 14/09/2010 22:06

They have postponed the hospital 'til next week now - short of beds

I think we need the CAF more than ever tbh

But I am still making time to have fun

Oh wow! I'd missed that!

They're right - she is beautiful. How lovely to be able to dress your little girl up like that still. My two won't wear dresses any more - in fact they both choose to dress like boys. I miss the days when I could buy them really beautiful dresses.

Enjoy Smile

Yes but she would do better if she looked a little less elegant & a bit more tarty Hmm which I hate

I'd feel exactly the same. The problem is you're competing with parents who think tarty is good. I think she looks fab as she is but I like little girls to look like little girls not little adults.

I do have to say that this is more a case of looking after your DD than taking time out for you. I'm sure it's fun for you but don't miss out on some 'me' time if you can help it.

Nah, picking dresses 'n' stuff is always fun imo

Just bought DH a fab suitcase to go to comps with DD
