Hi, I'm new to here so please bare with me. So my 4 yo son is diagnosed asd. Highly suspected adhd. He's currently in a morning nursery with one to two support. He's due to start reception in September. He's also under the outreach team from the special Ed school and under SALT. He's non verbal. The school have said he's not going to need more support than the school can provide and we need to start the statementing process.
Basically I'm clueless as to what I need to put in the application letter. I've done a rough draft of one but don't know if I've used enough detail. I can't afford to have to appeal it as it takes 26 weeks without an appeal and he needs this in place for September. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'll try an attach the letter I've wrote if I can work out how to do it 🙈
