Not a business or entrepreneur but someone had asked me this and I posted in parenting as thought it was interesting, but was informed it seems like a business question:

Would you buy an emergency nappy kit if you’re out and about and have forgotten the changing bag etc?
this could be at the zoo
bus day trip etc

I get the idea. And lots of soft plays and baby places we go have a stock of nappies.

other than that I did always try and keep one sealed food bag with a baby grow, nappy and wipes. In obvious places. Like elderly care home for parents, husbands pick up, my car.

that said, I ain’t no super mum and this kind of thing happens. An old towel in car, my own hoodie, you just deal with it don’t you.

Wouldn't people just go to the nearest supermarket, garage, corner shop or even get them on Deliveroo etc?

I can't see enough situations where your 'emergency nappy service' is going to be more convenient than the thousands of options already available for it to be a profitable business. If I’m in a cafe in York and I think 'shit, need a nappy now', how are you going to get it to me for a comparable price and time to me looking on my phone to find a shop or even get a pack delivered to me at the cafe?

You could put vending machines in public baby changing rooms but it would take huge investment to get coverage and then you'd need people to actually buy in sufficient quantity. Plus you'd need them all to have card readers because hardly anyone carries coins these days.

Thinking about it, I don’t think you see so many sanitary protection vending machines in toilets any more, because they're not economical to service.
