Does your child wear vests?

Hey! I’m developing a children’s sleepwear brand and was wondering if your child wears a vest. I’m referring to children in primary school. Just a tank vest to keep warm (eg. under school uniform), not popper vests. I wore vests until I got my first bra so was wondering if vests were still a thing. Thanks!! Xx

No, it hadn't even occurred to me to be honest. I never see them in shops either?

DS runs hot, he often refuses to wear a coat even in deepest winter.

You will see them if you look for them just go to the kids underwear section in the supermarkets they're right there...

Not past infants.

Nope, if its really cold we just put a white t-shirt on under their shirts.

Yes - DD age 4 wears vests from October until March. She likes pretty ones with Disney Princess/Stitch/cats etc.

DS age 11 would sooner extract his eyeballs with a spoon. I think he wore one until he was 6 or so. He’s a warm kid.

my boys wore a vest until about 5 then didn’t bother. My eldest has just started high school and gets really cold so wears a plain white T-shirt he wouldn’t be seen dead in a vest (age11)

I do supply teaching so I see a lot of difference children in different schools and lots of children wear vests. More wear vests than don’t. At least the do on PE day. Some wear the base layer sort and some wear the traditional sleeveless vest.

DS wore a vest in Winter until about age 9. Then he clocked in the changing room that very few of the other boys did and since then has refused to wear one.

Yes and a lot of the kids at their school do. The school badge on their polo's is rough at the back and causes some rub.

I’ve got a 9 year old girl who wears vests under her school shirt in winter. In summer she wears crop tops (only started that in September/start year 5).

my 2 year old wears a vest on very cold days.

i wouldn’t buy an individual vest, only in multipacks. I don’t buy white ones as we’re not a household who keeps white white!
