Can you still do green and red days?

Hello. I lost a couple of stone doing red and green days about 15 years ago. My weight has fluctuated in the meantime, and I now find myself back where I started, due to snacking and general bad habits.

I don't want to rejoin, never enjoyed the classes (image therapy, ugh), all the happy clappy nonsense. But I did do well on the plan.

Would I be successful going it alone, based on the information I can find online?

Typically, I would use HEXAs for milk in cereal, tea and coffee. HEXB for all bran or oats with fruit for breakfast. Lots of fish, lean meats and veg for lunch / dinner and syn alpen bars and muller lights if I needed a snack.

Does that sound okay? Is it within the current rules, as I know things have changed a lot over the years. I just don't want to be bothered with extra easy, as I never got my head around it. I need something quick and easy to follow for a few months to get me on track and back into better habits.

I do cook from scratch, and I don't drink alcohol, please tell me it's feasible.

Thank you very much for clarifying this for me, I thought it was only 1 A choice but great that I can have 2!

Is anyone still following this? I just read through the whole trhead and felt inspired!

I'm a vegan so the current extra easy plan is not 'easy' for me to follow, I need more healthy extras so have decided to follow the green plan. I started yesterday.

Would love to know if anyone else is still doing the old style days!

I lost 3 stone on slimming world and then it stopped. I tried again in another group but couldn't lose anymore and started to put weight on. Ive just started Noom and hoping I'll have more luck with that.

71.4kg today

Back on Green days
Feel like I'm eating a very carb heavy diet, but back to where I was a fortnight ago at least

red days as I have been going to class with the easy plan they use now but since trying to cope with diverticularosis & crohns my food choices are restricted. I thought all those carbs allowed now it would make a pleasant change but any weight loss is so very slow. Someone asked here about mullerlight yogurts, half a syn each. I just have to make sure I get the A's & B choices right for plan before I start & saw a man online who follows it after doing one of those megga U.S. foodie programmes & he gained too much weight but happy now with red plan.

I follow the red/green original on F.B. they have a couple of groups. I'm doing 12 weeks with todays plan but not good with carbs so need back up of the red plan. Go with what worked for you before. Recipes & printouts for the original info. Plenty of older books on Ebay. Even some on Amazon.
