How would you KNOW?
You know what you've eaten, but no one-week's loss is something that you can actually feel, is it?
I suppose you could go from trousers-not-quite-doing up to trousers-just-about-do-up and then you'll know it's a positive result? But you don't have a pair of trousers for every possible threshold.

Use the chorizo style sausages from ice land instead?
I sometimes notice something is getting loser. I remember the week I lost 3.5lb, I reckoned I had maintained 😂
I know that since my surgery and the no exercise for 6 weeks I have lost my toning. Can't wait to exercise again.

Another one with weigh day today. I never really know how I have done. Some weeks I have stuck to plan and I manage to put on - other weeks I dread the scales because I have been eating out half the week and I have lost. My body doesn't seem to follow a pattern at all - other than a pattern of chaos!
I simply CANNOT walk through those doors and not have any idea what the scales are going to say, so I always step on the scales just before I go out the door, so that I can get over any disappointment before the actual scales result.

Can I join in too please? I've sent the hubby out today to grab me a copy of best magazine as they have a voucher for free joining at a group. So I've decided to take the plunge and join one of our local groups. I've tried following the plan online, but never really stuck to it. Hopefully going to group will give me some accountability.
I have alot to lose and I'm feeling nervous about walking through the door to that first appointment. But I really need to do this and stay on track.
I've treated myself to a 6 month food diary too and plan on keeping a daily log of everything I eat.

Hi pinkle, you can do it! No matter how much you have to lose there will always have been someone with more so please don't feel nervous as that's what SW is for!
Sometimes I convince myself I've lost loads but haven't lost anything! I think it's so hard to tell but I guess you know whether you've been good or not. I know if I stepped on the scales after last weekend I would not have lost ha
Jacket potato in the oven for lunch, had sugar puffs this morning as I just really fancied them and you get loads for you measurement. Had half my HeA in milk so will have some cheese with my jacket now.
One of those Maggi chicken in a bag things for tea, 1 syn per piece of chicken so prob 2 syns for me.
I'm a bit bored today. This is dangerous for me as boredom = eating.

A maintain for me at weigh in so still in target, pretty pleased with that after a week in Cornwall eating pasties
Runner up in the Woman of the Year competition too I had to stand up and give a little talk on my SW journey and I have to say that my confidence has really improved as there would have been no way that I would have felt able to do that at the beginning of the year!
